I've got a few Philipp Plein and Plein Sport items. Very high prices for very cheap materials. Recently bought a cap for £250 for example. Advertised as calf leather. Tag says polyester and made in china. Cheap
And just to add to that....I bought 1 Superdry Sport item in the Christmas sale and ended up spending over £1200. At an average sale price of about £30 - £40 per item, that's a lot of stuff. Their materials and build quality are far superior. Obviously they are targeted to completely different audiences, however I much prefer them. The only reason people buy Plein is for the price....because it's prestigious, which is fine! But I expected better tbh.
I think he copy a lot from the old Ed Hardy: the skull, the tiger, the big dragon and/or snakes desings are all part of Ed Hardy fashion clothes at first.
Philipp plein I'm amazed he has got as far as he has, every piece of clothing for menswear at least is just a copy and paste of other brands! He seems to steal designs and specific niches from other brands he heavily takes stuff from Mcqueen, DSquared2, Mastermind, Givenchy and YSL to name a few. Then maxes out the price of the items compared to the brands he copied from, so when you buy PP your buying a more expensive almost fake looking copycat of other brands.

Maybe for a man shoe but the women shoes are garbage. They are poorly made. The insole doesn't even fit inside the shoe on one of their phantom kicks. It's really awful. Styles can be cool but the quality is not for comfort.
