The rest that the creation day has never ended FOR GOD. Because He rested from His work of creation. The Sabbath day to us, so we can rest from our labors, not of creating, but of worldly activities, is one day per week.
It’s hard for me to accept that some of our brothers and sisters who are out here doing an amazing job preaching the gospel / debating with sound doctrine but are having a truly hard time understanding the truth regarding the Sabbath. It seems more so that they are intentionally using God’s word out of context to justify what THEY FEEL should be true vs what God said to be true. I would encourage them to seek this truth with a true desire to know, rather than a desire to justify. It saddens me. I’m not even a full year into my walk with God, and when it came to the 10 commandments of God, I could not for the life of me get a good consistent explanation for not keeping the Sabbath. Each Christian I spoke with had totally different reasons, which ultimately left me confused. What I do know is God isn’t the author of confusion, which confirmed to me I had found the truth regarding His Holy Sabbath 🙌🏼 I also had a hard time finding a GOOD Sunday church, one with consistent deep teachings of scripture, and I now see it’s because God was leading me to His Truth, He didn’t want me in ANY Sunday church. 😭♥️ I’m just sooo grateful.

@Gyaradosite for me as well! His video on Babylon to America is what brought me to the Sabbath truth. It was 100% the Holy Spirit who brought that to me! I was then lead into a deep 10 month study on the Sabbath alone. It was incredible! Never heard that message before, and at that point I had not studied my Bible to that extent. It was wonderful. Took me a little while longer to discover other Bible truths. God is good!
Hey i was wondering if you guys could make a video in the future about what we believe about alcohol in regards to abstinence and grape juice being used for communion. I feel like I have a good grasp on all SDA doctrine from the Bible besides these 2. I love how you guys break stuff down and would like to hear your perspective about these 2 issues. Some of the critics like to say stuff like "grape juice wasnt invented until the 1800s! So all juice was fermented!" In the fourth commandment of one of the 10 commandments. It talks about honoring God so you're listening to God and you are honoring his day that's his specific day to honor it and to keep it Holy being pur in your heart and doing things that pleases God so if he says to rest on the sabbath and to not work then we need to Honor his day.
i was thinking and realized the 4th commandment is between the commandments that have to do with just God and just our neighbor and it is the only commandment that has to do with both God and people in the same commandment
Colossians 2:15 can be cross referenced in Deuteronomy 31 to find out what law Paul is speaking of. Paul is speaking of the written law of Moses that was *_AGAINST US_* . The same wordage used in Deuteronomy 31 in conjunction with the law of Moses which was placed in a pouch on the side of the ark of the covenant, not INSIDE of the ark with the 10 commandments. Thus, showing an absolute separation between the two.
There is no phrase “moral law” in the Torah… For the Israelites, it was one document, one constitution, one Law! Modern semantics label the 10 commandments as the “moral law” due to the ethical components, however when we look at the 4th commandment and the observance of the sabbath from an Israelite perspective, we cannot deny the “ceremonial” connection of the weekly observance.. Double sacrifices.. How much more should the Sabbath mentioned in the Tanakh point us to Christ as the fulfillment mentioned in Colossians 2… Numbers 28 clearly states that additional MEAT AND DRINK offerings were given on the SABBATH.. Praise God that Jesus is the fulfillment of the sacrifices which doubled on the Sabbath!!!
The issue is that a lot of Christians combines the moral law with the ceremonial law, to argue that the law came to an end at his crucifixion. In the moral law (10 commandment), the sabbath is referred to as The Sabbath and in the ceremonial law, it is sabbaths and the two should not be mixed. It was the ceremonial law that ended at the cross, not the moral law
Understood, but according to Numbers 28, the Sabbath had double the sacrifices of the other days, plus the drink offerings.. So to say that the Sabbath is not apart of the ceremonial system would be inaccurate.. If any day pointed to Christ as the true lamb and the fulfillment of the drink, meat, and sacrifices mentioned in Colossians 2, it would be the sabbath day.. The sabbath observance was indeed ceremonial…
There are Adventist that teach that the Moral law/Commandments are eternal. What the critic's assumption is about the fourth Commandment is that it was a part of the Moral law eternally. I've heard it taught that the principles of the commandments have always existed and that as circumstances came about for the need for more specificity, laws like the 4th and the Commandment about adultery became part of the Moral law
In principle we believe every one of the Ten Commandments existed eternally, but that each were accommodated within the context of the earth in its fallen condition, and we see this contexualization taking place as time goes by while the principles remain intact. For example, the fifth commandment is given in the context of the land of Canaan, "that it may go well with these in the LAND which the Lord thy God giveth thee" (Exo. 20:12). Paul (who has demonstrated prior how one can extract a principle out of contextualized law, see 1 Cor. 9:9-10), quotes this same commandment (to mainly Gentile believers no less!) but applies it on a more universal level: Ephesians 6:2-3 KJV - Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the 👉 EARTH. 👈 The same can be applied to any of the Ten Commandments, including the Sabbath. God contexualizes the Sabbath with His chosen people at that time, yet nevertheless, it remains true that "the Sabbath was made for MAN..." (Mark 2:27, cf. Exo. 20:11, Gen. 2:2-3). My understanding of the law that was nailed at the cross that the book of Colossians refers to is different from the ten commandments as it was written by Moses in a book. Deuteronomy 10:1 At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood.10:2 And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.10:3 And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.10:4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.10:5 And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me. The feast days were not contained in the book not in the moral law which was written in the tables of stone. The ten on the other hand was written by God himself.
Question : was the 10 Commandments in existence before Creation? Please explain Revelation 11:19 in the light of Exodus 25:8-9 in connection with the pattern of what was shown unto Moses in the mount and Hebrews 9:26-27 where the plan of salvation was established from the foundation of the world.
If Adam and Eve would have listened to God instead of the serpent we would not be in this predicament that we are in causing Sin to have come into the world. So listening and obeying God is very crucial in what he tells us to do. So if we follow his ways we will be in good shape in order to keep going healthy and strong in our physical and spiritual walk with our heavenly father.

I also want to make a point regarding hebrews and sabbath keeping. Since many people claim Paul promoted first day worship. And Paul wrote hebrews, we should see Paul keeping the first day holy right? Then Why on earth did Paul still keep the sabbath in acts and even preach to the gentiles on the sabbath if it is no longer relevant? Acts 13:44 tells us Paul gathered almost the whole city of gentiles together on sabbath.
Simply look at Exodus 31:17 God rested and WAS refreshed so the Sabbath isn’t still ongoing, it began at evening and ended the following evening The word yom when accompanied by a number means literally from evening to the following evening

We have placed distinctions and categories that the Israelites did not have. Hmmm…Bind up/seal the law in the original Hebrew means “tora” or the sum total of the mosiac laws (613 of them) therefore to seal the law, would encompass all of the laws, not just the Sabbath command.. Is this what Paul meant when he declared we are sealed? Sealed by keeping the laws of the Torah? 👀

Paul says the Holy Spirit SEALS the believer, not that the Holy Spirit IS the seal. The only way we can keep the commandments of God is the work of the Holy Spirit. So the Holy Spirit seals us, in a sense, by being the power that allows us to keep the commandments through Him.

Your teachings of the Sabbath or Ten Commandments are more literally based. That is who you are. For example, you rightly state that the Law is broader, but you are not realizing that that the broardness of the Law holds us in the condemnation of sin from which we, by ourselves. cannot escape. Therefore, please answer this question: can you identify one person who has kept either the Law or Sabbath in the period of the Old Testament? If you try to point to a person, you would be contradicting the Word of God and the death of Jesus Christ. God has declared, according to the Scripture, all have sinned and come short of His glory. In the Old Testament, we are told not to sin: Thou shall not commit adultery etc. (we were sinners) In the New Testament, we are nor called sinners but the righteous. Mt5:17 says I ðid not come to abolish the law but to fulfill. When we talk about laws or commandments, we say that Jesus comes to fulfill. Now, tell me how the first commandments were fulfilled in the New Testament. You all totally misunderstood what David meant by alluding to the 8th day, and a continually rest starting on that day.. Being a musician, and David is as well, we understand that in a musical scale, degree 8 and 1 are the same note.. For example: CDEFGABC.. So David was not saying that there wasn’t a weekly cycle for 8 and 1 represent the same day.. He meant that on 8th day or day 1, man enter a rest with God that was eternal and uninterrupted (until the fall) So you went through a whole explanation not understanding his context.. David also mentioned that we would not find that rest again until Christ life, death, and resurrection, hence the quote from Hebrews 4 “There remains a rest” So again, David was not saying that there wasn’t a weekly cycle.. An eternal fact. The Sabbath is the Sabbath of the Lord you God. It belongs to God. All who call God as their God will honor the Sabbath of the Lord. The angels obviously honor God, so, they must surely honor the Sabbath of the Lord.

When was the Sabbath “given” as a command? Definitely not Genesis!! Exodus 16, 20, 31 Deuteronomy 5 (sure!!) But not in Genesis, one can assume that but it is just that, an assumption! Yes the Sabbath was made for man, but scriptural, that statement made by Jesus cannot refer to creation due to the fact that there was NO commmand for anyone prior to Exodus 16, to keep it.. That guy at 17 minutes is absolutely wrong. The Bible still calls for circumcision of the heart in the New Testament just like it did in the old. The Old Testament believers were saved by grace through faith just like the New Testament believers. That guy is flat out wrong and not what SDAs teach.😊

You guys are ignoring an important point in verse 16. It is a sign between “ME AND THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL FOREVER” not the.nations of the world forever. The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. Romans 14:5
Your official statement is babbling nonsense. Jesus being creator saves no one. Jesus being deliverer saves all you enter in. The first Shabbat law was destroyed by Moses and never established. The second Sabbath law is rooted in deliverance, not creation

That's right, both the day and the rest God did ended. The text specifically reads, "BECAUSE He HAD rested..."
The rest that the creation day has never ended FOR GOD. Because He rested from His work of creation. The Sabbath day to us, so we can rest from our labors, not of creating, but of worldly activities, is one day per week.

It’s hard for me to accept that some of our brothers and sisters who are out here doing an amazing job preaching the gospel / debating with sound doctrine but are having a truly hard time understanding the truth regarding the Sabbath. It seems more so that they are intentionally using God’s word out of context to justify what THEY FEEL should be true vs what God said to be true. I would encourage them to seek this truth with a true desire to know, rather than a desire to justify. It saddens me.
I’m not even a full year into my walk with God, and when it came to the 10 commandments of God, I could not for the life of me get a good consistent explanation for not keeping the Sabbath. Each Christian I spoke with had totally different reasons, which ultimately left me confused. What I do know is God isn’t the author of confusion, which confirmed to me I had found the truth regarding His Holy Sabbath 🙌🏼
I also had a hard time finding a GOOD Sunday church, one with consistent deep teachings of scripture, and I now see it’s because God was leading me to His Truth, He didn’t want me in ANY Sunday church. 😭♥️ I’m just sooo grateful.

@Gyaradosite for me as well! His video on Babylon to America is what brought me to the Sabbath truth. It was 100% the Holy Spirit who brought that to me! I was then lead into a deep 10 month study on the Sabbath alone. It was incredible! Never heard that message before, and at that point I had not studied my Bible to that extent. It was wonderful. Took me a little while longer to discover other Bible truths. God is good!

Hey i was wondering if you guys could make a video in the future about what we believe about alcohol in regards to abstinence and grape juice being used for communion. I feel like I have a good grasp on all SDA doctrine from the Bible besides these 2. I love how you guys break stuff down and would like to hear your perspective about these 2 issues. Colossians 2:15 can be cross referenced in Deuteronomy 31 to find out what law Paul is speaking of. Paul is speaking of the written law of Moses that was *_AGAINST US_* . The same wordage used in Deuteronomy 31 in conjunction with the law of Moses which was placed in a pouch on the side of the ark of the covenant, not INSIDE of the ark with the 10 commandments. Thus, showing an absolute separation between the two.

There is no phrase “moral law” in the Torah… For the Israelites, it was one document, one constitution, one Law!
Modern semantics label the 10 commandments as the “moral law” due to the ethical components, however when we look at the 4th commandment and the observance of the sabbath from an Israelite perspective, we cannot deny the “ceremonial” connection of the weekly observance.. Double sacrifices.. How much more should the Sabbath mentioned in the Tanakh point us to Christ as the fulfillment mentioned in Colossians 2…

The issue is that a lot of Christians combines the moral law with the ceremonial law, to argue that the law came to an end at his crucifixion.
In the moral law (10 commandment), the sabbath is referred to as The Sabbath and in the ceremonial law, it is sabbaths and the two should not be mixed. It was the ceremonial law that ended at the cross, not the moral law
Understood, but according to Numbers 28, the Sabbath had double the sacrifices of the other days, plus the drink offerings.. So to say that the Sabbath is not apart of the ceremonial system would be inaccurate.. If any day pointed to Christ as the true lamb and the fulfillment of the drink, meat, and sacrifices mentioned in Colossians 2, it would be the sabbath day.. There are Adventist that teach that the Moral law/Commandments are eternal. What the critic's assumption is about the fourth Commandment is that it was a part of the Moral law eternally. I've heard it taught that the principles of the commandments have always existed and that as circumstances came about for the need for more specificity, laws like the 4th and the Commandment about adultery became part of the Moral law
In principle we believe every one of the Ten Commandments existed eternally, but that each were accommodated within the context of the earth in its fallen condition, and we see this contexualization taking place as time goes by while the principles remain intact. For example, the fifth commandment is given in the context of the land of Canaan, "that it may go well with these in the LAND which the Lord thy God giveth thee" (Exo. 20:12). Paul (who has demonstrated prior how one can extract a principle out of contextualized law, see 1 Cor. 9:9-10), quotes this same commandment (to mainly Gentile believers no less!) but applies it on a more universal level:
Ephesians 6:2-3 KJV - Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the 👉 EARTH. 👈

My understanding of the law that was nailed at the cross that the book of Colossians refers to is different from the ten commandments as it was written by Moses in a book.

The feast days were not contained in the book not in the moral law which was written in the tables of stone.

I also want to make a point regarding hebrews and sabbath keeping. Since many people claim Paul promoted first day worship. And Paul wrote hebrews, we should see Paul keeping the first day holy right? Then Why on earth did Paul still keep the sabbath in acts and even preach to the gentiles on the sabbath if it is no longer relevant? Acts 13:44 tells us Paul gathered almost the whole city of gentiles together on sabbath.
In those passages quoted the Holy Spirit is not the seal, but the One who does the sealing.

In the Old Testament, we are told not to sin: Thou shall not commit adultery etc. (we were sinners) In the New Testament, we are nor called sinners but the righteous. Therefore we are not commanded anymore Thou shall not but rather we fulfill the Law through love. A typical Scripture; 1 Timothy 1 shows the state of a sinner under the Law and the state of the righteous who fulfills the Law.

Can you even consider the possibility of a relationship with Fater, Jesus and Holy Spirit? God created man before He presented the laws of stone and then some. The thought to break a commandment didn't even exist at the time in the garden. If they say that there are 7 reasons why the SDA church is wrong, well this brother has news for you especially them who delight to expose what they think is wrong about The Seventh day Adventist church and one will only touch on the point of The Sabbath alone.
1.The Sabbath is mentioned before the very existence of sin. (See Genesis 2 and 3)
2. The Sabbath completes the creation week and was the first full day on planet earth for the parents of all human beings.
3. We do not know how many Sabbaths were observed by them before they became sinners.
4. The weekly cycle has never changed from the first creation week.
5. In the 4th Commandment we are reminded that The Lord and Creator made the heaven and the earth in 6 days and rested The 7th day and it's the only Commandment that mentions the none Hebrew speaking people as The strangers or foreigners who chose to live among the Jewish people.
6a. The Sabbath was made for mankind and not animals according to what Jesus said in Mark 2: 27 and 28.
6b. The Sabbath is so important that Jesus said to his disciples...pray that your flight be not in winter nor on The Sabbath day (see Matthew 24)

Finally when it comes to The Lord of God of which The Sabbath is a part the bible plainly states that The Law is (1) Perfect (2) Just (3) Good (4) Spiritual (5) Holy and this brother will add two more to make it the perfect 7...(6) Faultless and (7) Sinless, therefore to look at The Law of God without The Sabbath and with another major religion who also removed the 2nd Commandment is to think in the opposite direction of the divine purpose for our daily lives and to be against The Law of God as a whole, by choosing to pick choose and refuse what parts of The 10 Commandments we should live by and such baneful thinking remain inseparable from ancient heathen pagan idolatry and the worshipping of false gods and has turned the religion of Christ into the teachings of the devil and his angels and have kept out The Spirit of The Lord from the church's operations which is now substituted with a false witness and a great misrepresentation of Christ and as Paul declared anyone without The Spirit of Christ does not belong to Christ (Romans 8: 9)
To conclude no heathen pagan culture or idol worshipping people would think to observe The Sabbath of The Lord because if they did, they would forsake and flee from all forms of Idolatry and false worship because only the worship which comes from heaven above in all truthfulness will lead us to worship The Lord in spirit and in truth.
Therefore anyone who says that The Sabbath is not binding on Christians do not know who is behind such a thought, because if The Law is both Spiritual and Holy as well as without fault and Sinless anyone who promotes or supports the change of The Sabbath has found fault with a holy and Sinless God and are doing on earth what was always impossible for the devils and his supporting fallen angels to do in their heavenly home, which they are banished forever from and being homeless they are squatting on our sinful world giving us hell on earth and only the correct connection to Jesus will be our only sure way out of this sinful environment and atmosphere while we live on planet earth.

Sacrifices did not cease on the Sabbath, matter of fact, they increased, therefore the Sabbath was more “ceremonial” than the other days.. Go figure!
