Thanks dude! Funnily enough, I've heard about all three of these bands from the same guy (shoutout to S) and they rip! There's such an absurd number of super-talented Japanese bands-most notably, ones that are predominantly female. Will def think consider them when I get back to doing covers.
@@LindenPoirier Yeah i agree, the talent from over there is insane, Must have been awesome living in Japan, i mean just the background for this video is beautiful. It's on my bucketlist to visit there one day and my dream to live in Tokyo (currently in the process of learning the language) Also don't know if you have heard of the band but Gotsu Totsu-Kotsu have a bassist that also plays some insane slap bass ruclips.net/video/6UDk7JI29hI/видео.html ruclips.net/video/e9dYfkgpqvU/видео.html just listen to the intro of those songs haha, it's crazy fast slapping and popping
@@mackaus1 For sure, had a lot of fun there! I'd say it's generally a better place to visit than to live in, assuming you aren't fluent in the language, as it's v hard to build lasting connections. For a short while though, it's a great experience. That song is rad, might try figuring out the intro if not the whole song!
@@LindenPoirier haha awesome, let me know if you ever do a tab for the intro or the whole song :) Haruhisa Takahata is one of my favorite bassists, it's nice to see slap bass incorporated into Death Metal, the only other bassist that i've truly seen do that is Olivier Pinard from Cattle Decap, formerly of Cryptopsy
