I was really excited to add Sixth Sense 0, Track Shoes, and Meat Cleaver to my collection. The investigators were actually what I was most excited for, as I like the idea that they play differently for their classes.

Love those cards. I actually hope in the future we get a Sixth Sense 2 that gives the stat boost of level 4, but without the extra clue potential. I feel like some investigators would really love that, people like Sefina and Patrice.

Hot Council's Coffer tech: Use Dexter to play it fast during a test with Mesmeric Influence committed, to ignore its Uses keyword and have it enter with no keys!
Then marvel at how it's still kinda underwhelming!

I had a lot of fun with Henry Wan in blurse decks and he did fine powerwise, I would recommend anyone to give him a try in a similar context

If you tell the silly old woman that her prophesy is stupid your lead investigator doesn't have to add Ace of Rods to their deck. That means you never have to add it to any deck ever.

I don’t get telescopic sight. It’s a reaction to triggering a fight action on an asset.
How can you trigger a fight action on an asset if there is no enemy in your location?

Eh, same way that Fence can make things Fast even if you have no actions left to try to play the card in the first place.

I would say Mr Rook is nigh unplayable with the taboo, even in Mandy. It is a mirror to scroll of secrets in so many ways. The action cost just murders your tempo, and even with the bonus weakness draw, it feels much worse when you are spending an action to get your weakness instead of getting it for free. Not to mention the ally slot is much more constrictive now that mr rook is no longer guaranteed to be gone (or at least expendable) 3 turns later. Before it was 3 or 4 cards for one action, but now it is 3 or 4 cards for FOUR actions, not to mention the 3 resources. I mean if people are fine with the card just being binder fodder thats cool but i think he deserves better. Personally, they should try giving him back his free action but force the weakness to be the selection, which additionally solves the problem of the 3-6-9 dilemma actually being a choice instead of always picking 9. But in his current state, i would argue he is worse than pre taboo scroll of secrets. No substantially, but still

Hmmm. I've been happy with him in Mandy post-taboo, but I hear your point. I don't think I'd run him anywhere else. It's one of those cards where it's hard to fix the original problem without substantially changing the card's effects.
