@@mitchyoungs212 that's good to know since the cymbals in my ludwig backbeat kit have a bunch of marks on them after my drummer started playing on it and he's not the loudest drummer either but they were with the stock sticks which don't seem that hard since they have marks on them too
i see a lot guys going 'oh, these suck and those suck', when really they should be saying 'i'm really grateful that some of the top cymbal makers in the world would do something like this for drummers everywhere'. but no, everyone just wants to be a dick. i think it's gross how ungrateful people can be who don't happen to need something like this. i'm fortunate to be able to buy almost anything i want, but that wasn't always true. this stuff didn't exist when i first started playing as a young kid or when i was a teenager and had to find ways to afford gear. people should just be grateful. oh, the PST3s aren't 'good enough'? really? i'll bet if someone came to your house and took all your gear, and the next day you were given a set of PST3s, you'd rethink that shit in a fucking hurry. be grateful if and when you need them, and things like them, and be glad for those who do even if/when you don't. and by the way, it's not even really that they're 'cheap', it's more just that's what brass sounds like. we should all be so lucky to have it when we need it
ocho cabra - I would have no issue playing these. Especially when I was a kid, I would have been so grateful... Heck, I was grateful for the Camber II's I had!
I bought these to go with a budget Pearl Roadshow kit set up as the house kit in my jam room. For the money they sound great. The drummers that have played them are amazed at the sound- these are guys that have rigs where one cymbal is worth twice this entire pack. Not a lot of options in this price range BTB and Zildjian make cheapies- went with these based on this video, and the extra 16inch cymbal. Don't sound like bin lids that's for sure. I am going to post a demo with these and the Roadshow, when I can get one of the lads to bash away.
@@asianmanok7017 Snare - Evans Genera HD dry- coated, Kick- Evans Remad reso/Emad batter, rack tom Evans G2. The floor tom is the original, which amazingly sounds great. I did buy a lift kit for the 18inch kick which also helps.
I was unsure about a pst3 14 inch crash i bought until i jammed with a band its blended really well as deeper cymbal placement . And goes well with my sabien pro and zildjian z crash . Thise hi hats sound great btw
this video makes the hi hat sound a whole lot better than they do in real life. they deliver such an distracting noise when you use them but of course, they’re good for beginners on a low budget but for an intermediate to professional, i would say to stay well away from these edit: it comes down to preference, but i’d rather not use them any longer than i already have
Ah right. I assumed they were like the Meinl hcs and mcs brass cymbals. Have you heard them? They're nasty as fuck. I used to play pst5's which are a very good cymbals and at a very good price. I've just moved up to the pst7's which are even better again and at a very good price.
+Sion Lewis The MCS are actually B8s. PST3's are alright for the money, really. The hats are the best brass hats I've ever heard and the 16" crash is quite explosive for a brass. China's alright. Crash-ride is garbage, too thick for a crash, has a weird nasal tone. I have the ride and it's got good stick definition and ping, bell's not bad either, but it has a weird sharp overtone when crashed heavily. Overall really nice tho, quite jazzy for a 79€ ride. I've since also upgraded to the PST7 and all I can say is wow. Best cymbals for the money, super close to the 2oo2s. But the best budget cymbals, hands down, are the Millenium B20 set from Thomann. 175€ for a set of B20 cymbals is a mad deal. My friend has them mixed in with a bunch of Zildjian A Customs and they blend really well.
The hi-hats have got to be the best in this range
yes
@psycho'si carter I'm still using the same ones I got over 5 years ago and using them for professional recording, they do sound great for their value
RedNinja Mitch I just picked up a pair of used 14 hi hats. They sound surprisingly great!

Best practice cymbals ever. Very durable

I just bought this cymbal box set just about a few days ago. Yet, I'm going to use these cymbals as my practice-only cymbals.
Everything except the crash ride sound great for the price
Yes.
wow they look shiny. I really need polish mine or something
anybody knows if this is a significant upgrade from the... Tama Rhythm Mate stock Cymbals? :D
yes they are so much better
Are these cymbals good to use for rockabilly and for small venue gigs?

they aren't too bad but for only a bit more money you can get the pst 5s which are harder to find, but sound way better than these.
You cant complain for the price point there at
pst3s are made from brass? they never sounded like that to me
Right? I have a crash ride and it doesnt sound at all like my brass cymbals
Me gusta el platillo
A mi igual
Are they good for jazz?Pls help
@@AlexSlavenDrums ok thank you
@@nikolayyanev5222 no worries
The hats ride and 16in crash are all good for jazz, the 18in is the one you should stay away from
7,200 pesos bro
I had the 16" crash and 18" china because I couldn't afford any more at the time. that being said I didn't like the sound at all
the crash ride sounds abysmal
+Ray Gonzales Cheap arse brass cymbals that's why
+Sion Lewis i have this pack and it's not bad for brass actually. it's just particularly the crash ride

+Sion Lewis nice! yeah paiste is a great brand even their beginner cymbals, i still use them even though i have upgraded to sabian xs20's

Them Guages
the one and only reason I would ever get paiste is if I was on a super tight budget or a beginner.
You are idiot...some Paiste cymbals are the best in the worl...I gues you can get paiste now cuz we can see you are the beginer
I'm a beginner on a tight budget, just bought the crash-ride with a stand at a pawn shop for $40. PAWN SHOPS ARE GREAT

true
Creo la linea 201 suena mejor😂
son platillos baratos...
