You seem to know Lost very well I’m guessing, I just started recently and I’m half way through season 2 but I already knew how the show unraveled, I’m confused by the part where Juliet told Jin that Sun had an affair, did she really?
Right exactly!!! Lost was ALWAYS about the characters and their journeys, about letting go, about love and faith, about mistakes, regrets, and second chances, about people and their complexities... It's about life and death, how we are all connected in life and death... It's about our humanity.... How come people miss it, right? It's so beautiful.

Then, somewhere year after I rewatched the series and cried non-stop during the final episode. After several other rewatches I realize how perfect the show actually was overall and the end was cherry on the top. When I see some top-lists about "worst endings of tv shows" and see Lost there I become angry at these people!
God I loved this scene so much. I think this is the only episode in TV history that managed to both break my heart and warm my heart at exactly the same time. Like seriously, in each of the scene's where a character remembered the island, I genuinely felt positive AND negative emotions at the same time. Beautiful. Absolute masterpiece of TV.
I don’t know why this particular “remembering” devastates me so much. Exhausting and exhilarating. And I love it whenever I stumble on the scene while cruising around. Sigh.
Right next to Juliet and Sawyer's reunion, this was my favourite moment in the series finale. Juliet was Sun's constant in the afterlife. Aside from Jin, the deepest connection Sun had was with Juliet. And Jin's constant in the afterlife was his daughter because he never got to meet and know her. What i loved about this scene is that the very first thing that sparked Sun to remember was the touch of Juliet's wrist on her stomach when she started performing the ultrasound. The very first thing Sun remembered was Juliet's face and their special friendship 💖 So beautiful 😭💔 Juliet had such a deep connection with Sun and Jin. She was the one who got Sun out of the island by getting her to go on the Zodiac Raft first. Juliet's death was the thing that really damaged the show. It was the most emotionally traumatizing moment in Lost history. The reaction from the audience was exceptionally intense back in the day. Her character had become perhaps the most iconic and well-written one. Juliet remained mysterious until the very end. John Locke was the biggest thing on Lost until Juliet came along. Out of all other characters being killed off, Juliet's death was a big mistake from the writers. Juliet's death was something that simply never should've happened. Kate's character was the most useless and unnecessary one in the show, one-dimensional and never really contributed anything relevant to the main story. Out of all the characters who were left alive by the series finale, Hurley was the only truly important one. Locke and Juliet were the characters who really got the short end of the stick. Next to Locke, Juliet was the most popular and important character on the show.
Even though this was definitely the hardest-hitting "remembering" scene (Locke is a close second), I still got through it relatively okay... Then I remembered that this is the first time that Jin is seeing Ji Yeon. He loves his daughter so much that even just seeing a medical image of her instantly makes her remember his life, and he never even got to meet her in the real world. Made me sob like a baby, man
I just noted the similarity between the end of this clip, where Juliet comments on Jin and Sun's perfect English, to the flashback in "The Incident" where, at their wedding, Jin comments on Jacob's perfect Korean.
I wish they had not cut the scene where Sawyer came in to ask them about the incident that landed Sun in the hospital. Their reaction to him being a police officer was priceless.
realiazing that Jin never saw his child was what awakened him in the afterlife... tears.... the writers made something times with the flash sideways/afterlife

@Captbigbeard Yeah Penny had to find Des....... on an island that was hard to find over the course of three years!!!!! Plus they had to deal with Widmore. And there was a little episode called The Constant, which pretty much sealed them in as Lost most "constant" couple. Of course your entitled to your opinion but I'am just putting mine out there. Don't get me wrong, I love Sun and Jin, I've even met DDK on a few occasions and ate at his burger joint. I'm just saying I like Des and Penny more.
No need to compare couples at all, each couple had their own story and appeal. The show never was a competition as to which couple is the most ''constant''.
This is a flash-sideways. An alternate timeline within LOST. It shows what could have been if Oceanic 815 never crashed on the island. But Sun also gave birth to a girl in the main plot when she left the island as one of the Oceanic Six.

I have heard people complaining about the ending when it happened but after re-watching the series they find it the perfect ending
