I need to get down to the inlet, I live about an hour north but I always hear about good fish being caught down there. I came from saltwater fishing and know those Oyster Fish or "Toadfish" all too well haha. Good video though!
Awesome video was thinking about making a few trips there in December and January are the stripers still around then and if not what else can I catch there during that time! Keep up the good work!!
I've fished off the rocks several times at this Inlet. It might be one of the toughest places I've ever fished. From trying to figure the current, the tide changes, the baits, ....and especially the amount of snags. One trip, I must have blown through over $200 in gear and bait. I was never more frustrated fishing in my life. I'm 56 .... and I've fished in all sorts of water and all kinds of conditions. The Indian River Inlet will beat you down.
I know it looks nasty but I promise u bud if ever catch a nice size road fish they r so good to eat like I mean good I said hell ne when my buddy tried to get me to try one so he mixed it in with my flounder meat and then told me when I was done I was like ok let me try a peaice and now I will not though them back I less there small just try it sometime

Got my grand sons watching your videos, hoping they loose less equipment, and catch more fish.
That’s awesome man. It’s def a tough place to fish but once you learn what to do the fishing can be great

I'm going Friday Wich side is better north or south
I going out today out of the in let for some stripper and sea bass
Nice
Cool video and a gauge siting! Awesome 😎
Them stripers need to get bigger, was out there two weeks ago and caught several all the same size as the one you caught.
Its a shame they're always that size lol. Some big ones get caught at night but during the day it would be headline news to catch a keeper lol
SchusterFishing yea I usually go at night especially during outgoing.
What reel are you using for the Stripers you caught?
