It looks better with the brush because you can't "load" it like you did the applicator.

Hi the applicator is supposed to be used for better coverage to lessen the coverage or to blend it better then you can use your brush and blender. It's a korean foundation it's not up to the standards of U.S. foundation... The less product you put on the applicator the better.
