- Sorry about the sound at a few times, my camera is not the best in the world.
Focus was on the 190 this year. She had her original USATC whistle. She put on a great show. Thanks to the people at Tweetsie for putting on the event and let us explore the park to film.
Part 4 of 6
Excellent video! 190 really looked like a true US Army Transportation Corps locomotive, mostly because she was one. These old Army girls deserve a good amount of love, and it appears that 190 is getting her fair share of it. That little MacArthur may be small, but she was a big part of my childhood, and I’m glad they’re still taking care of her. Long live the Yukon Queen!
They actually used 190s original white pass whistle again this year. Didn’t sound near as good as it did in 2008 though.
190's whistle durango and silverton
Great coverage.

Is190 a sister to 192 at Dollywood?
Yes, they both operated on the white pass and yukon route during world war 2
Thunderhead925 yes, they are the same model and make
Yes. They are both narrow gauge 2-8-2s built by Baldwin for the US Army. They were built to fit specifications for a narrow gauge 2-8-2, and were both classed as S118s. 190 is the oldest operational individual of its class, with 192 being the second oldest.
