Thanks for your interest and yes, we are trying to do our best with the tours, we will have at least one more at some point in December, Stay tuned, and any questions just let us know 👍
1) 200A - will that be enough for passive home AND electrical charge ie Tesla; 2) what is lifetime for such sidings? do they need any extra care (ie staining)? 3) did you install radiant heated floor in all surfaces? would appreciate price rang on what additional costs that will be.. thank you!
1. Yes, 200 amp would be suitable for any electric vehicle. We do this often.. 2. Engineered LP Adams siding comes with a 40 year warranty, the finishes guaranteed not to fade in 15 years, may need to be painted after that…personal preference 3. Yes, the customer of the home wanted radiant floor everywhere but it’s not required in a passive Home considered a luxury item. Most often we install a single air source heat pump mini split. Radian floor adds approximately 10 to 15 K extra to budget
Thanks we do get this question lots, there’s no problem with any snow condition as all designs meet 1 in 100 years snow loads conditions by engineer review. For example, We have designed a house for Lake Tahoe California which has a 150 pound per square foot snow load, Passive House roof systems are also naturally thicker so naturally stronger and have more strength protection with standard design
PLEASE keep posting home tours!

Concerned about the roof snow load abilities of the home. I live in very cold weather area with lots of snow.
