It was hard to stop detecting knowing what this area had to offer mate , didn’t want to come off these fields , it’s all there , just need to walk over it , some fantastic finds including Viking that I didn’t get to film I’d say it’s worth another visit , rally or invite 😉 Cheers Craig 😎👍🏻
Loved this from start to finish colin..you really hit the nail on the head with everything you've said..especially the historical value of the land. It was hard going with the hills but worth it for what turned up..I just wish everyone could find something special at these digs but that's not how it works unfortunately. Think it makes the special finds even more special when they turn up..

That last coin looked kinda’ like a Camac type token 1792/94 with that scrolling design. Nice little bit of silver and the hawking whistle needs investigating. Altogether, the total finds of the day from the dig area was magic. Patience paid off for some who believed. A bit o’time needed on those fields. Happy out!! Couldn’t make this one, will make the next.

Ostriches aren't nothin' like our birds Colin; ours back-up😉..One helluva a day at the hunt Colin. Great folk, great land, grand weather, and more silver than Spain ffs's! Outstanding😎👊👍🏴☠.
