Moving the camera/lights/tripod to so many different places, creating such a time consuming intro, making beautiful graphics. I don’t think people understand how much time Jen spends on every video, when she could just do a simple sit-down and finish it in 40 minutes. This is an insane amount of filming hours, and I really appreciate it as a viewer. Since clothes encounters Jen’s videos were top notch, and she kept the standards high ever since. Congratulations on your really hard work Jen ❤
Surprisingly i did almost half of these but yeah, the consistency is the key. And i agree if the meditation one put on the first which is interpret as the most important, and i really agree with that. That i do yoga and enjoy it, but when i got problem about the busyness and skipped my yoga for two weeks, i felt stress out with my daily. I mean that's how I think yoga can help us decrease our stress.
Don't forget she doesn't do the video work, she also had to close Eggie because she overpriced her products and ghosted customers who wanted refunds. Also abuse of staff in sweatshops. Her content is scammy, don't be fooled young uns, she's taking you for a ride. She had to delete the video Coming Clean about Eggie because it showed who she really is
And don't delete people's post telling the truth. Ben cheated on you and some didn't see it before when he mentioned he kissed another, he is British so he will cheat
And she doesn’t do any of the video work?? Have you tried to even film yourself or just a simple video? That is work in itself whether or not she edits it herself. Also she can afford to hire out because she has spent YEARS doing it herself and building her career
@@sharonyang8822 So stupid, you hear it, you believe her, you weren't even a customer of hers that saw how poorly they were made and overpriced with ghosting people. You think what you want if you like fake content
As a 22 year old overthinker and being terrified of becoming an "adult" your videos make me feel so much better about getting older and going through life! Living for the big sister advice !!
A 19yo friend asked my 38yo friend "when do you start feeling old?" He told her "you don't. You just talk to 19 year olds and think" oh wow, what children" " I was 27 at the time and this has stuck with me and definitely changed my outlook on growing older.
Bullet journaling changed my life!! Mine is less about tracking tasks and more about mental health. I write down my moods, "celebrations" (things I'm proud of), lessons from therapy, things to do & see in my city, and check in each week with a small diary entry. It helps you to actually accomplish what you want to do while staying present and positive, rather than constantly striving for goals and perfection.
Jenn, I seriously think you'd be an amazing author of a lifestyle/self-help book! I love the way you express your thoughts and how you tackle them with an open mind. You have hard hitting advice but are gentle with yourself as well which is awesome : )
Ugh, a much needed video! It's been 5 years since I graduated college and got my first job. But it feels like I'm still in my transition period. It does get overwhelming and sometimes my anxiety gets the best of me. And I'm still working out the best habits to incorporate in my adulting life...
I’m in the same boat! It’s kind of crazy because in comparison to who I was 5 years ago, I’ve got a lot figured out. But every day, there are new questions and things I’m learning and having to make decisions on. Even with the bedsheets Jen is talking about 😂 something that I feel like would be a good investment is nice bedsheets, buuut I keep flipping back and forth.
I feel you! Post grad life is a big adjustment, since it's our first foray with not having to go to school. I know you'll find your rhythm soon. It takes trial and error. You got this! x

I have been watching you now for so many years (I am now 29) and I have to say that it’s been beautiful watching you transition into adulthood and parenthood. You and Ben are such great role models and I really appreciate all the effort you guys put into your content. The videography and editing is absolutely immaculate, and as others stated you have such an eloquent way with words. ❤️
I am a KonMari Tidying Consultant, and folding clothes has been a great habit for me! I use the time to reflect on why each piece brings me joy and do a mini joy-check for each item I fold. Some days I hate folding or I’m busy with life like us all, but when I do take the time to care for my clothes, I am always grateful for the moment of reflection and gratitude❤
Tapping into what my inner child wants to do really helps me to adult! Doing something I enjoy for no reason or a specific outcome is so freeing especially in an era where productivity seems to be attached to everything we do. Dance like no one is watching 💃🏽
Jenn, thank you! ❤️ This Video made me emotional. I am 25 and adulting is hard sometimes, but you reminded me that it's okay to do things at your own pace. Life is not a race. I started a challenge where I stretch everyday for 10 minutes because I have realised how the lack of movement and stretching has affected my ability to focus for a long period of time when I study. I am only on day two but my muscles ache already. This means I really need to continue with the challenge. It also distresses my mind.
Absolutely!! I'm proud of you for taking the time to find things that improve your mind, body and soul for the long run. Keep up the stretching challenge!! I promise it's so worth it. n_n
The way you explained writing changed my perspective. I’ve tried journaling before and I never liked it because like you mentioned, I’d get frustrated from not being able to write as fast as my thoughts. I never thought about how it can be a good thing - that it allows me to slow down and reflect on myself and the situation I may be going through. Thanks Jenn, I think I’ll give journalling another try 🫶
Hi jennThanks for sharing your story I enjoy watching your contents. I started my path to reinventing myself a year ago, I’m now living healthier, confident, stronger, making 6 figures, having leisure to enjoy family &friends. I feel happier and living my life for myself . This is to encourage someone “you can start anytime to have a reset it’s worth it! I’m striving to continue growing cus it’s a journey 💗
Change your mindset, read self-help books, expand knowledge, budget and don't spend on impulse, save, take your finances seriously, eat healthy, exercise your body, meditate; the list goes on... I hope it is useful to you.
I learnt to be frugal, minimal on spending, saving and paying myself first through Investing, made Plans, growing passive income, Read a lot of books on finance, followed my plan consistently.
I am nearing 30’s and you are still my go to “adviser, life coach, & inspiration” kind of person. I am grateful that every time I open youtube, I feel like you know exactly what I needed. ❤ Thank you!
This video couldn't be so ON POINT. I love everything that Jenn mentioned here cause I can truly resonate with EVERYTHING!! I'm getting teary-eyed just by watching this because I feel so out of touch with myself and out of balance recently. This video has reminded me time and time again of these little things I can do to nourish, love and take care of myself. Physically, mentally and emotionally. I'm officially getting into my 30s this year, and all of these things I can resonate big time. Thanks so much Jenn for being a HUGEEE inspiration to many. Please keep doing more of these adulting hack content, it's honestly a lifesaver!
These are all really good tips! Not sure if this would be considered a habit but something that has helped my self doubt and anxiety as a mother is being proud of an accomplishment no matter how small it may be. For example, getting up when I’m tired and making a simple dinner for my family instead of eating out is a small accomplishment but I still try to feel proud of myself in those moments. I feel like those small boosts in self esteem help me accomplish other things in my life that I may have felt too overwhelmed to conquer.
You are influencing me in ways I actually want to be influenced. Thank you! 🙇♀ Just sharing a habit that I've probably been doing for several years now, and that's to recap your day. Personally, recapping it with my significant other has helped a ton. It feels a bit like therapy when you look at your day in hindsight. You're able to find pockets of gratitude and moments that you, admittedly, could have reacted/done better. I'm blessed to have someone I can share this with, but I do think recapping it in writing or even in your mind before you sleep could be helpful too. And when I say recap, I mean, share all the details you want. Even the ones that seem "insignificant"- like the snack you ate, the outfit you wore, the sky you saw, etc. ❤
How do you continue to top yourself?? The editing and filming is always so spectacular! Your communication class is proving to be effective with your videos as evidence. :)
Awww, you're so kind!! Although I can't take all the credit! Ben filmed and edited all the intro + stop motion and Janine added all the pizazz with the motion graphics! n_n
This is one of my favorite videos of yours probably ever. Not only were the ~vibes~ great, with the editing, videography, etc., but you're so well spoken and did a great job of explaining each thing in a completely different way than I've ever heard any of these things explained before. It's been wonderful as a long time follower seeing your journey and different eras, and I can really tell that they've all converged to this wonderful, balanced version of yourself.
Your videos have actually made me feel more secure in growing older. I am 29, soon 30, and it feels overwhelming sometimes. I always trend to go to your videos when I need to feel safe with all these changed. Thank you so much, Jenn!
I have been experiencing the worst EVER anxiety, panic attacks which leads to lightheaded & even breathless. But this gives me so much helpful ideas on how I can improve my mental health. Thank you for sharing❤
Jenn, I've watched you since you started. We're the same age and I too was a college student on a budget who simply wanted to be stylish. Your videos during clothes encounters were my weekly faves to watch. Took a break from RUclips but during the pandemic, seeing your transformation into a maturing adulthood has brought me a similar feeling of back when I watched you: companionship. It feels like we're all progressing and maturing together and I appreciate all your nicely organized Virgo brain sharing your own methods and journey. Just wanted to leave an appreciation!
A lot of these have helped me too! 💛 I love how clearly and helpfully you explained them, it makes me feel so much more motivated haha. Another little thing that has helped me is to, sometimes, do nothing else while I'm eating. I find it tempting to watch videos or read, scroll, or listen to music while eating, but doing nothing else but eat every now and then helps me to appreciate my food, touch base with myself, and break the cycle of constant digital or mental stimulation.
I've not seen anyone describe their love for reading the way you did in this video - those were the exact reasons why I love reading (would never have been able to articulate it so eloquently as you!)
The part where you said that your mind is racing with so many thoughts that you hate how your hand can't match up with the speed is something I relate to. However, when you said that you love how journaling/writing helps with this cause it forces you to slow down enabled me to reconsider my feelings when journaling while frustrated. I love your perspective, and I think Imma start journaling more.
Mmm “maturity is slowing down your reaction to things” that is deep!! I’ve been really enjoying using a habit tracker app and it sets reminders to help me stay on track
please do a part 2 I really really love jenn's video I am crossing the threshold of 20 and feel really frustrated and fidgey Watching jenn adulting along her way gives me confidence that everything will be okay for me as well love you jenn wait for your update every week
jenn has always been ahead of the editing game. i been watching since i was like 13/14 and i turn 23 next month. she always somehow tops the editing with every video 😗
Aww I appreciate this comment! I can't take all the credit! Ben killed it with the intro/stop motion scenes and Janine added so much flair with her motion graphics, colorgrading, etc. Feeling very grateful for my team! x
I would add gardening!!!! it teached me so much, about patience, the pace and progress of everything and it relaxes me so much being in touch with the ground, the plants, the water
Every single one of these I agree with whole-heartedly. In college I took some research courses that required readings/teachings on yoga and meditation. Through that I began to practice and saw the improvements first hand. It's now part of my everyday routine. I also journal, which really helps in moments of anger, anxiety and confusion. I am currently becoming more interested in reading, which I can relate to your commentary on - because in school, reading is an assignment and you almost never get to choose what you are reading. However it has now become a goal of mine to essentially keep learning and stay interested via reading. This is a great video, I really appreciate it.
what helps me is also stretching, I have been going through a change when I really need to step into my adulting pfase. It's tuff, but thank you for making this videos
I think that, when I heard you say " I know that adulting is hard, but we are all in it together ", a big release happened, for me. God that is so true !! Thank you Jenn !
I love the way that you make a own introspection about your habits, it's like you invert time thinking how do you feel and translate it in wisdom for others, thank you!!
I usually, go for a walk and try to reach my 10k steps, meditate, read self help books, go to the gym and sleep at least 8 hours. I also find sometimes just standing in nature and just taking in the sounds help me to wind down after a stressful day or if I just need to clear my mind.
Something that helps me everyday, is not to let my "future me" deal with the stuff that I can do now. For example, preparing my breakfast and lunch the day before. Preparing my clothes in the evening, so they are ready when I wake up. Same for my gym bag. It helps keep me motivate to go to the gym in the morning. More important, it makes me greatfull for what I did for myself. It's just simple things, that matter in the day to day life. I also try to write every night : 3 things I'm gratefull for (specific or general) and 3 things I'm proud I did during the day. I observed it changed my mindset even during the day. I'm more happy and open to receive the small joys everyday life and I talk to myself more gently. For sure, I want to try medidation and yoga too, to help with dealing with anxiety. Thank you for you videos :) PS: I'm a french speaker, sorry if my english is not perfect.
First Jenn Im video and the thing that captured me is her voice. I just love the way she speaks and her vibe is lovely. Like, that's the word "lovely".
I have to say I clicked on this video randomly had never seen your channel before and I really enjoyed it. While ive heard all of these habits before and practiced them myself on and off throughout the years, your videography and the way you explain them on such a human level with your own insight instead of just quoting facts and in a sense putting yourself in a glorified position (like ive seen others do) cause you practiced them, made this video such a safe and inspiring space. Thank you for that.
I would say that my adulting habit is to try to not procrastinate. As i grow, i encounter lots of different situations that I'm not familiar with, and it can make me want to avoid them 😅 So I try to force myself to tacle every new thing right away, so that I can feel more confident afterwards and learn. It's also something I apply in my everyday life around the house, because as time goes, I find that it is really precious so I want to spend as much time as I can doing things I love and enjoying myself. I can't do that if I have a pile of undone chores that I need to take care of... I understood that I'd rather spend 10 minutes a day doing things that are not fun but need to be done, and then do something else, than let them accumulate and finally ruin a day that could have been spent differently 😊
Something that I find really helps me is to every morning open the window, stick my head out and just take in the air. Our cat usually joins me and it feels cozy and like we're both just appreciating the new day just buzzing with potential, freshness and gratitude. Another thing is to take breaks as seriously as work. It's too easy to go from one screen to another, but to actually try to do nothing or go outside even if it's just the balcony or outside your home makes the most out of the break and you will feel more refreshed :)
I am just so happy for how much you have grown personally throughout the years. For me it’s like yesterday when I used to see you content of fashion. I’m so grateful to you for all still creating good content for us.
morning walks! they have been a cornerstone for my creativity/wellness. sometimes it has been just the thing to give me space for an idea to come into fruition, or its given me time to slow down to be present during tumultuous seasons. whatever it is - walking in my local park is a big 'adulting' habit for me ;p. beautiful vid btw!
Love this video. My #1 adulting habit is to put my life into a worksheet, like bills to pay, how much to save etc. It really makes me feel confident about being an adult
They act as building blocks so I can understand the world better at my own pace is my favourite thing you said. You have a very calming voice aswell ❤ thank you for the tips!
i’m 34 and i replaced my old crusty kindle with a new one late last year, in the hope that i’d rekindle the love i had for books as a child. i’m glad to report that i did! i’ve been using goodreads to track the books i’ve read so far and i’m so proud of myself and happy that i can lose myself in a book anywhere i am. i’ve been gaming & using social media a lot less which makes me feel happier overall ☺️ and exercise! even just walking 20-30 mins a day is enough to boost my mood, i highly recommend it 💕
Thank you for this video. Despite 7 months having gone by, I’m still recovering from cooperate trauma I experienced as a result of bullying. Taking it one day at a time, but videos like these help :)
Walking and talking to other people was another good change I made that I can recommend apart from those you've already mentioned. Made me realize other people are also lost, scared and wanting to feel accepted and loved and you both can become stronger. It taught me a lot.
I’m so grateful for this channel and community. Jenn you should be incredibly proud of the person and creator you’ve become. Honestly I feel like I’m talking to a friend at all times ❤
Jenn, you inspired me to regularly meditate and read back when I was working my old toxic job. It really saved me from my chronic over thinking and general anxiety. I also started eating healthier when you started uploading more cooking vids. You’re always helping me evolve and grow throughout the years. I can’t thank you enough ♥️ Your videos are always a joy to watch!
I'm turning the big '21' this year and life often feels quite overwhelming with the wave of work, study and personal life commitments that just get thrown my way - watching this helps me realise I can power through this struggle and enjoy the nicer simple things in life
Jennnnn please if you find some time to make a video about the different hairstyles you do with your hair we would love to watch it! Because, somehow you always turn your short hair into a beautiful hairstyle! ♥
I'm turning 20 soon and came across this video. I was always scared of adulting but you really somehow changed my perspectives of it with this. New subscriber here!
I’ve never seen this video before today. Coincidentally, in my quest to improve my mental health, I’ve started regularly doing all of these habits. It’s nice that you’ve co-signed my them, it makes me more motivated to keep going!
Jen. The shots of you laying down in the beginning were absolutely stunning. Your videos are so fun to watch and I learn so much from them! You’ve really inspired me to take steps towards becoming the best version of myself. I was feeling a little in a rut with no idea where to go or how to change, but this gave me the confidence boost I needed :) thank you so much for being my big sister I can always go to, your videos help me more than you’ll ever know!❤
Love these!! I do earthing/ grounding daily and it has the same effect as meditation. It also reduces inflammation in the body and makes you overall healthier. I noticed my personality has changed from it, I don’t care what people think, I don’t worry about much at all and I so much happier. Earthing is just touching your bare-feet to the grass or using an earthing mat, blanket or even shoes to ground yourself as much as possible throughout the day. I would highly recommend, it’s like being in a calm state and connected to the earth all the time like humans were designed to be. Shoes keep us from connecting so that is why everyone has adrenal fatigue and all kinds of health issues caused by inflammation.
Everytime i have doubts about myself or just random questions in life...i see your videos and they give like answers ...i feel like your videos come just in time to give me peace of mind and calmness in your voice just helps alot! (:(: thanks Jen!!!
oh wow, that part in reading is an eye opener for me. I have been reading a lot for years but your perspective in reading is what i needed to hear. Thank you :)
You're so wholesome Jenn, I find myself laughing at your remarks and comments - remembering a lot of those insightful experiences and experimenting with those types of activities helped me with elevating my awareness/knowledge and health (and deep depression) despite being a guy, I found that the norm was to run away from your feelings and avoid these types of activities all together as they are "feminine" traits but I found it to be enduring and nurturing, which I think it's vital to growth - I find it a refreshing reminder that being genuine, authentic, and wholesome/down to earth has been one of my values in life I forgot to cultivate, and I think a lot of the things you listed are things that have helped me become a better version of myself 100%. All really great reminders/recommendations!
To deal with anxiety I have to center myself with counter phrases : grounding myself in remembering at the end of the day as long as my loved ones and myself are healthy and happy in the present, the thing I am worrying about is smaller in comparison. This is something I am practicing into habit! Protecting my peace!
I had to move out to live on my own when I was 19, I'm 29 now. I'll share 3 things I've learned so far. 1. Stand up for yourself. This may seem irrelevant to 'adulting' or even as a habit, but standing up for yourself takes practice, and it protects your mind and time. It allows you to focus on what matters, and in time, prepares you to stand up for other people (children, spouse, friends, etc.). 2. Track your money. How many times have you said or heard "I need to stop spending so much on coffee" or " I need to stop eating out so much"? How much went where, exactly? Eating out cost X dollars but shaved time off your schedule. Monthly "treat-yo-self" trips to the mall gave you 24 hours of happiness. 3. I had to repeat what Jenn pointed out- meditation. Pay less mind to your posture, and more to the passing/lingering thoughts. Wisdom can be achieved this way. You start to observe yourself more closely. In time, it becomes habitual to observe people/events rather than acting immediately by default. To Jenn, this is the first and ngl probably the only video of yours I'd watch, but I've been thinking about writing my story for a long time. Until I heard the way you explained it, I think it's about time. Thank you.
I love this! I have regularly added in cooking and stretching and they really make a difference. I’m working on incorporating reading and writing more into my day to day. Thank you for your videos as always! I really have grown into an adult while watching your channel over the years :’)
Don't forget she doesn't do the video work, she also had to close Eggie because she overpriced her products and ghosted customers who wanted refunds. Also abuse of staff in sweatshops. Her content is scammy, don't be fooled young uns, she's taking you for a ride. She had to delete the video Coming Clean about Eggie because it showed who she really is
you helped me actually understand the reason why everyone says that "you have to learn to cook to be more independent" or "you have to do a sports activity because you need to be in good shape", and a lot of times they mean it well but it ends up feeling forced and you feel like it's an obligation, but with the way you explained things I actually felt motivated to try some of them, so thank you so so much!❤
As I tip I think it is really helpful when you have to do something like paperwork or some chore, and you do it as soon as possible and just say to yourself that it's probably only gonna take like 10 minutes. even if it turns out a little longer than that, for me it helps to trick my brain and don't let myself procrastinate, just get it over with so I don't even have to think about it anymore.
oh my God!! the writing one is sooo trueeee Jen! like i have been writing spontaneously at some point in my life and i can't stop doing that ever since. It's like the thoughts and words are endless and i just pour everything on my writing as if i'm making a documentary of myself haha
These were great friendly reminders the things I usually enjoy actually have a place in my well-being and growth. The reading part about looking into another person’s mind is a great perspective!
Hi Jenn just discovered your channel. Your content seems very interesting. I'm looking forward to see the watch the rest of your channel. Your video was on my For You page, at a moment in my life where things are moving fast... I'm turning 18 in a few months and inspire to enter med school in September. I need new habits for my personal life outside of my academics and your advices are just perfect. Thank you so much. It feels good to see other people implementing new strategies to grow, I feel less lonely in the process. Thank you so much
Jenn, I resonate with your point of view in regards to reading! I am currently in college and love reading but cannot pick up a book for the life of me because I am drowning with assigned readings, textbooks, etc. But summer is approaching; we'll see how I fair! Adulting wise, habits that have changed my life and have helped me tackle emotions and personal growth include daily exercise, ones that really make you sweat. My husband and I enjoy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It is a physical chess game. It blows my mind, how often we will go over a topic that I have already learned and retained but I will notice and new, small detail that changes everything for that position. Other habits include, weekly cleaning and regularly washing the laundry when the hamper becomes full instead of waiting for the end of the week. There's more, but this is already a novel... so I'll spare some details.
my favorite habit of mine as a college student is to have a whiteboard and write down "this week's plans" and "things to do" and the classes I am taking so I can keep track. this is one of my organizational skills that I love to do!
i really appreciate the writing tips 💕 i write poetry and i never would write for anyone else to hear it. but then i realized i was really good at it and would start to share it with loved ones. then i realized it was hard to write again and it was probably because i was writing it for someone else to hear
I feel so baffled bu this video in such a wonderful way because I remember watching your videos yearsssss ago when I was in highschool, and so its been such a strange but wonderful experience kind of growing up together(? Lol) because I find I feel the same exact way about adulting and prioritizing to instilling all these habits too! Such a lovely videoooo, and even tho it sucks sometimes… cheers to adulting!!
I've had quite the opposite experience with writing. I can not really bother writing for myself. Or I could not in the past. Maybe that's changed, now. I'd have to try. I'm going through uncertain times, not knowing whether the relationship I have/had will continue/come back. We had a period of not contacting each other. And in that time I took up writing. But addressed to her or with her as reader in mind, not me. And even now after we have contact again, and I wait for her to end the uncertainty one way or the other, I still write with her in mind. It has helped me a lot so far.
I really enjoyed the video. Especially the part about cooking. I just moved out. And even though I be been cooking for my self semi regularly before it just felt way more stressful if I have to do it every day. Especially combined with my first 9to5 job. Inspired me to find the fun in cooking again.
all of this resonates with the struggle or growing into an adult phase for me. Loved the entire vlog. Please, please do a part 2, 3, 4. It helps so much
Thank you for your advice💕 Some of them I incorporated in my daily life and it changed my mind. Especially sleeping, which I neglected, became the main thing for me because it makes my mood for the next day. I really recommend all people try to incorporate some of these habits into their lifes
Writing my emotions down really helped me a lot! Sometimes when you think it is really a big problem, however, you find it is just a small issue after u write them down
I found this video (and you) last night. I have been binge-watching your videos since and I will use this comment as my diary entry to say I'm very grateful to arrive here. I'm feeling at a point in my life where I forgot who I was because I was too busy making everyone around me happy and that unfortunately included changing who I was. I have found your content so relatable and easy to digest and process (even if it's kinda tricky for the heart) for me in this new journey. Thank you for this, please keep doing it for as far as you can and feel happy 💜
Oh my gosh I felt you when you said you have been wanting to touch your toes forever! I have always been the least inflexible person I know and whenever I told people I couldnt touch my toes they were like... Wut (0.o)? But this year and end of 2022 it changed for me! I started doing yoga here and there and stretching a bit but you know what else that surprised me? I started wearing a style of "barefoot" shoe which means they are flat on the bottom with no extra height from your heel to your toes, they are very flexible to walk in, and there is lots of room for your toes. Now even when I dont stretch for days I can still touch my toes and I was happy but confused how all of a sudden my flexibility changed! When you wear shoes like that it naturally stretches your achiles, hamstrings, and calves as you walk! Made a huge difference in my life
You are THE most engaging speaker I have ever listened to!✨ everything you say is like a beautiful laid path of knowledge for me, I’m such an approachable way too, love your channel Jenn🤍
💯👏🏾
Totally agree ❤
I watched bc of the intro- saw it on my home page and was like whoa. She cut no corners
100% facts, AMAZING quality of video

"Maturity is delaying your reaction to things." -_Jenn_ How true!!!
No.
I must be the least mature EVER haha. I constantly react to stuff without thinking or really fast
I think this means more being dead inside?? 🤔 .... No more reactions....
Habits:
1. Meditation
2. Sleep
3. Reading
4. Stretching
5. Cooking
6. Writing
Thank you
Surprisingly i did almost half of these but yeah, the consistency is the key. And i agree if the meditation one put on the first which is interpret as the most important, and i really agree with that. Lol a kid could have made that list, I don't understand how people can love her videos
Meditation? Lmao, Thanks for saving my time.
bless you
Jenn is everyone's favourite big sister, so grateful to have you

And don't delete people's post telling the truth. Ben cheated on you and some didn't see it before when he mentioned he kissed another, he is British so he will cheat
Uhhhh coming clean about Eggie was actually her talking about how she wasn’t doing any of those things.
I be sukn deek
A 19yo friend asked my 38yo friend "when do you start feeling old?"
He told her "you don't. You just talk to 19 year olds and think" oh wow, what children" "
I was 27 at the time and this has stuck with me and definitely changed my outlook on growing older.
I love this!!! xx
This is such a good one!!!!!!!
As a 24 year old, your videos make growing up not so scary 😭❤️
No, honestly!
Yeahh
Agreed!!!
Totally agree with you
Jenn, I seriously think you'd be an amazing author of a lifestyle/self-help book! I love the way you express your thoughts and how you tackle them with an open mind. You have hard hitting advice but are gentle with yourself as well which is awesome : )
I would LOVE a book from jenn. Would 1000% buy it
i’d buy it!
You got this! x
I haaaated the transition period, I still do for all aspects of life lol it's so uncomfortable and feels so hard to adjust.
Don't forget she doesn't do the video work, she also had to close Eggie because she overpriced her products and ghosted customers who wanted refunds. Also abuse of staff in sweatshops. Her content is scammy, don't be fooled young uns, she's taking you for a ride

Omg I love this idea! I feel like that’ll help me feel more connected to the things I own
Tapping into what my inner child wants to do really helps me to adult! Doing something I enjoy for no reason or a specific outcome is so freeing especially in an era where productivity seems to be attached to everything we do. Dance like no one is watching 💃🏽
This is such a good one!!!! I’ve starting drawing stupid things like cartoon fish with legs because that’s what my inner child wants to do! Haha
Definitely!! Reflection requires delay! I hope your next journaling sesh goes well. (:
@@imjennim 😮 I so wish i could save this quote as a text highlight like a kindle 🫶
I tried it and it still doesn't make me any less frustrated honestly idk what to do
Hi jennThanks for sharing your story I enjoy watching your contents.
Congratulations sis! Thanks for encouraging others with your story, I will love to get tips from you too
Change your mindset, read self-help books, expand knowledge, budget and don't spend on impulse, save, take your finances seriously, eat healthy, exercise your body, meditate; the list goes on...
I hope it is useful to you.
How did you grow to 6 Figure ? I’m honestly trying to work on my personal finance this year.
Congratulations to you Sandra that's a great accomplishment keep it going 👍💯
I learnt to be frugal, minimal on spending, saving and paying myself first through Investing, made Plans, growing passive income, Read a lot of books on finance, followed my plan consistently.
With such high level of editing won't be surprised if Jenn presents a film sometime soon!💜
I love the idea through all of these tips that it's about progress, not perfection, and every little bit helps.
Thank you! 🙇♀
Just sharing a habit that I've probably been doing for several years now, and that's to recap your day.
omg thats so true!!! i have to agree. she rally makes amazing content all the time❤🔥
Awww, you're so kind!!
Agreed
I’ve been really enjoying using a habit tracker app and it sets reminders to help me stay on track
please do a part 2 I really really love jenn's video
I am crossing the threshold of 20 and feel really frustrated and fidgey
Watching jenn adulting along her way gives me confidence that everything will be okay for me as well
love you jenn
wait for your update every week
jenn has always been ahead of the editing game. i been watching since i was like 13/14 and i turn 23 next month. she always somehow tops the editing with every video 😗
Jenn helped me through college and now adulthood. Truly an anchor in my life through and through ❤
She’s the therapist we need 😂
Aww thank you for sticking with me for all these years! Happy to be here!! x
what helps me is also stretching, I have been going through a change when I really need to step into my adulting pfase.
Reading this comment just relaxed me.
Thank you for you videos :)
PS: I'm a french speaker, sorry if my english is not perfect.
You have a very calming voice aswell ❤ thank you for the tips!
i’m 34 and i replaced my old crusty kindle with a new one late last year, in the hope that i’d rekindle the love i had for books as a child. i’m glad to report that i did! i’ve been using goodreads to track the books i’ve read so far and i’m so proud of myself and happy that i can lose myself in a book anywhere i am. i’ve been gaming & using social media a lot less which makes me feel happier overall ☺️
and exercise! even just walking 20-30 mins a day is enough to boost my mood, i highly recommend it 💕
Thank you for this video. Despite 7 months having gone by, I’m still recovering from cooperate trauma I experienced as a result of bullying. Taking it one day at a time, but videos like these help :)
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video!! I was in a spiral overthinking about a performance tomorrow, and this video is so grounding!!
Jenn activates my parasympathetic nervous system ❤
This! ❤
I'm turning the big '21' this year and life often feels quite overwhelming with the wave of work, study and personal life commitments that just get thrown my way - watching this helps me realise I can power through this struggle and enjoy the nicer simple things in life
As someone who struggles with the basics these videos really inspire me to keep going and not push the little things aside.
Jennnnn please if you find some time to make a video about the different hairstyles you do with your hair we would love to watch it! Because, somehow you always turn your short hair into a beautiful hairstyle! ♥
WOWWW , jennn!!!! so lovely to hear you out giving these heartwarming advices for our well-being. Thanks!
I'm turning 20 soon and came across this video. I was always scared of adulting but you really somehow changed my perspectives of it with this. New subscriber here!
you are literally my role model and a beacon of comfort on RUclips (and beyond) when I want some healing content to watch
Aww that makes me so happy! x
@@imjennim I hope it encourages you to keep being unapologetically you!! heheh :)
Thank you. I am not quite an adult yet but adulting has always scared me. I will start these habits now to improve my mind and behavior.
Thank you :)
this is like the best video for someone with adhd (me). the transitions are amazing and somehow im still paying attention
That green is popping on you!!! I can't get over it, it looks great with your hair, too!
Thank you I use to write every day when I was married. Now it is not as consistent. I really enjoy this topic.
She had to delete the video Coming Clean about Eggie because it showed who she really is
you helped me actually understand the reason why everyone says that "you have to learn to cook to be more independent" or "you have to do a sports activity because you need to be in good shape", and a lot of times they mean it well but it ends up feeling forced and you feel like it's an obligation, but with the way you explained things I actually felt motivated to try some of them, so thank you so so much!❤
I just have to say that I’ve never seen that lime green color look so right on anyone else, it’s perfect
Your perspective on reading is so refreshing and inspirational! Thank you for sharing these amazing tips!
This is such a great tip!!
oh my God!! the writing one is sooo trueeee Jen! like i have been writing spontaneously at some point in my life and i can't stop doing that ever since. It's like the thoughts and words are endless and i just pour everything on my writing as if i'm making a documentary of myself haha
i haven’t tried this but it might help :
checking financials every month, just to see where you stand and where you want to improve
Thank you so much
Jenn,
I resonate with your point of view in regards to reading!
All of the ones you mentioned plus affirmations and doing 1 creative thing daily!
Oooh the video editing is getting better and better, and I don't know how you top it!
what i was thinking!!!!!!!
my favorite habit of mine as a college student is to have a whiteboard and write down "this week's plans" and "things to do" and the classes I am taking so I can keep track. this is one of my organizational skills that I love to do!
i really appreciate the writing tips 💕 i write poetry and i never would write for anyone else to hear it. but then i realized i was really good at it and would start to share it with loved ones. then i realized it was hard to write again and it was probably because i was writing it for someone else to hear
positive and empowering affirmations written, said or spoken daily
It helps so much
it's writing for me, as well. I've kept a journal all these years. 💖
Thank you for this, please keep doing it for as far as you can and feel happy 💜
really like you talking . it is so calming to watch your video. glad I found your channel todayy
Made a huge difference in my life
It just popped in my recommendations and I never thought that i would learn so much from this video
