Want to watch you all day,I have broken my left wrist,so out of action for a while, you are an amazing artist, every wreath is just perfection, loving Passacaglia as the background music ❤
Absolutely Lovely 💜 I have always loved lavender. Being from South Florida and now living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I have never seen a lavender farm. It has been on my bucket list for a long time. Thank you for sharing your experience at the farm. Please tell your daughter that she made a very professional and beautiful wreath🙂
For finishing the wreath cut the first bundle slide the last one under, and retie the first bundle pinning it. Then go tie the last bundle. Never done it, just seems logical. Thank you for the tips!
Hi, Both of the wreaths are So Beautiful, and I Know that they smell Amazing! I Truly Love the smell of Lavender! 😍🥰😍 Thank You so much for sharing. Sincerely, Paula
That was awesome! I adore lavender. Love it! I went to the Two Hoots website, but they don't sell online yet. The man I talked to said maybe in October they will be able to sell online. I want to purchase their lavender and also some lotion, etc. You are so lucky to have been able to personally go to this farm and pick it yourself. What a treat ! I also love how the wreath turned out.
So glad you enjoyed it! Oh nice! Glad they may sell some of their products online soon too! Yes, there are so many wonderful farms of all kinds in my area! I absolutely love it!
Living in Florida we have no lavender that I know of! But, we do have many of other beautiful beaches, shells and native plants to choose from. Your are 🤩 Complimenting your daughter too!
Yes, definitely too wet and humid for lavender over there. But you’re right! You have so many other things to choose from. Like magnolia! And thank you 💜
Jenny I love the Lavender wreath. So gorgeous! You make such amazing wreaths! I your video of the Lavender farm. Thank you and have a blessed day! Do you sell your wreaths?
Hi Jenny. I was just watching the replay 5:24 of this and I think it would look cool too as a crescent wreath! I love the mini one that your daughter made too! After it dries, how long can you keep this wreath?
It would certainly be easier as a crescent wreath! It’s those last bundles that are a little harder to add. And it will last several years I think. Ours have dried and still look good, and you can smell them still if you get up close. They’re very fragile, though.
We own a lavender farm in Oregon and want to make and sell wreaths. When using fresh cut, how do you let it dry? Just hanging like you would on a door or does it need to be upside down? We dry all fresh bundles upside down for a week then they are ready to sell as dried bundles. Thanks! Glacier View Lavender Farm
Oh wow, that’s awesome! I just made the wreath and hung it on a wall and it dried nicely. I don’t know if that’s the correct way (since only half are upside down) but mine looks great! And it’s SO much more enjoyable to make the wreath with fresh bundles.
I take the cut lavender and separate into handfuls (not too large) tie them with twine and hang in a warm dry place with no direct sunlight and good circulation. A shed is a good place. I hang the bundles from my pot rack in the kitchen. 😎 The fresh lavender will also dry in wreath form, remember not to hang in direct sunlight.
beautiful! How do you dry this after you are done? I would like one displayed on my window. Does it need to be in a cool dark place or do you just put it on display immediately?
I just hung it up on the wall in my house where I wanted it. It’s out of direct sunlight and it dried beautifully. I think if you’re going to have it on a window, it will probably fade quickly. I would at least dry it out of direct sunlight.
Jenny this is fantastic! Did you get a drone? I’m loving the amazing footage I’m assuming you’re husband took of you & your daughter and the lavender fields etc? Incredible! 🥰🤩
Thanks Shyla! Yes, I actually bought it for my husband a couple years ago and I finally got a good opportunity to use it for my business! Yes, he was there working hard getting all the footage while my daughter and I happily picked away 💜🌿.
Jenny, love the wreaths! Both of them turned out beautiful. Question on when it is drying. I have a huge lavender bush and I love to dry bundles. How do you keep the flowers on it? When I dry bunches, about 1/2 the flowers fall off. Is there a way to keep them on when the wreath dries? I loved seeing that you are from Boise. I grew up in Mtn. Home. Have a wonderful day.
Hi! Thank you! To dry them, just put them in bundles and hang them upside down. If your flowers are falling off, maybe pick them a little earlier? I know they’re so breakable once dried. For my wreath, the flowers are staying on nicely now that it’s dried, but if I touch it, a few fall off lol.
It still smells great almost a year later if you get up close to smell it. It doesn’t fill up the room like it did initially, though. But it’s definitely still fragrant. It dried beautifully
Hi! I’ve never had to replace my wire cutters for wreath making. They still work great. I did buy a second pair because mine would get lost sometimes when it was borrowed. And no, my hands don’t hurt.
The flowers stay on when it’s dray and the wreath stays in tack. The color fades a little, but the wreath stays in tact. However it’s fragile, so if something bumps into it, some of the flowers may fall off. Mine still looks great a year later!
@@JennysWreathBoutique That's great to know! Mine is a week-old now, so probably not fresh enough to make it into a wreath. Looking forward to making one next year though! Thank you
I visit a lavender farm just outside town. How much are your bundles each? Ours are $25 per bundle that fits in a spaghetti measure. Four bundles would be $100! I have bought that much but I usually give a bundle to my daughter and daughter-in-law.

Absolutely love both lavender wreaths! I made one a few years ago, getting dry. Anything I can do to revive it?
Thanks! Hmm… it may be time to make a new one

I'm just curious would you spray that with crown and Glory?
Not sure what that is? 🤷🏻♀️

How often do you get new cutters? Don't your hands hurt after all this time making wreaths?

gorgeous I like to do one with sage I think that would
Ooo that would be beautiful! I love fresh herb wreaths too! Sage, bay, thyme, and other herbs would be so pretty together too!
What happens to the flowers once they dry out? Are they expected to fall off, and to what extent if any, after they dry? Thank you

how much would u sell this for
Probably about $60-70. It’s hard to say, though. I just made this one for fun for myself, so I wasn’t thinking about cost when I made it.
