You also helped me realize how "lukewarm" (to say the least) my relationship is with my own religion. Hope I can improve this, seeing how you celebrate. Today I went out and collected some evergreens for a little winter decoration in my home. Thank you for the inspiration. 24:25 🌿 Is a hemlock tree branch, I believe, not a fir. They are a tree I'll never forget. During a windstorm, several of the hemlock trees in our woods fell on our house. They come up by the entire root ball rather than snap off like cedar branches do. It was very scary!

(May suggest to put a damp cold tea towel on top of the cake tin when there is a stubborn cake inside. It will shock it out. Just turn the tin upside down as usual and when it is clear the cake is of the more stubborn kind do not shake just leave the tin upside down and put the damp cold tea towel over it. Wait a little. Give it a slight shake - and if the cakes of the UK are not more powerful than ours - it will come out)

EVERYTHING is so beautiful, but I have to say that CAKE looks DIVINE! The golden trees were just the right touch, and all those spices and the treacle - Yum!
