There goes your free fusion license! This looks great, nice work!

No at the free license you can't create 4th axis post. You need to purchase for fusion360 to get the 4th axis.

@@cnc_andi3294 I think that’s what he was saying! 😊. I’m about to take the plunge and get the machining extensions. I want to start playing with 5th axis stuff. Love your vids.

@@billstrahan4791 Precisely, I am paying for Fusion too, it is a really great solution. (I get Rapids and 4th axis simultaneous paths)

Did you had a chance to measure for backlash on this 4th axis?. Wondering how accurate it is.

The software being used to generate the G code does not produce efficient cutter paths. The resulting file would need significant edits before it could be used in even a low quantity production environment. That said, it appears to be the norm for the industry. The programmers who write the code generators aren't machinists and they apparently aren't very good at geometry and physics, either, else they wouldn't be machining air for so long after leaving contact with the material.

      Yes, that's right.
I'm also in the process of adapting another postprocessor.
But I´m working now only for me and for fun. So that´s ok. :)
