  • Hey Guys! Welcome back to Lush Aqua. In this video, I show you the process of deworming discus at home using the Bubbles And Troubles De-Wormer. I also share my personal review of the product and my first impression.
    Note: This is the 1st time I have used the BnT De-wormer to deworm my Discus. As this is a medicine for fish, be extremely careful while dosing. If you are new to the Discus Hobby, it is always good consult a Discus expert before adding any medication or doing an online diagnosis.

    Does work at all. I followed the process mentioned in the bottle but nothing has worked out fish still do the white poop. It's better to use meds for deworming. I would not invest on it again and prefer to use Med. Just my opinion.

    Bubbles & Troubles products are the best. I am using the products for a long period of time. Products are of the best quality and do the work as specified. The products are limited not for particular fishes but we can use them for all mixed ones. The products really do wonders. I am fully satisfied with the Bubbles & Troubles products!!! Great video brother, could you please tell me which light is best for Aquarium plants.

    • @LushAquaUK
      @LushAquaUK  2 года назад +1

      Hi Gaurav! According to me, it is very difficult to suggest the "best light"! Every company claims their light is the best and grows plants better than the others. Also, it would be impossible to test all of them, considering their ridiculous prices! In my experience, you can grow plants with an inexpensive LED bulb (6500k temp.) too. But obviously, your aquarium won't look as stunning when compared to an aquarium using a WRGB light. So my advice would be, don't search for the "best", instead look for something in your budget and a light that is available in India (Many lights we see online arent available in India). Once you have finalized 2-3 lights, you would surely find user review videos on RUclips. Watch those videos, and your final decision would become much easier 😃

    When should I put back the activated carbon, media in filter? After 75%water change?? Or can I just keep my sponge filter on for 24hrs instead of my media filter.

    • @LushAquaUK
      @LushAquaUK  2 года назад

      Hi Swapneel,
      You only have to remove any filter with activated carbon or UV. After that you can keep your filter running while using the dewormer.
      Also, Never switch your filters off for more than 12 hours, it will kill majority of your beneficial bacteria.

    Do you store water, maintain temperature and then add in the tank??is it necessary?

    • @LushAquaUK
      @LushAquaUK  3 года назад

      You don't need to store water if you fill the water really slowly and have a heater in the tank (thats how I do it). But, yes! If there is a dip in water temperature, it will stress the fish out. Sometimes it can shock the fish to death too. So maintaining similar temperature is important!

    Can discus fish grow in water with tds 300 PH7.8

    • @LushAquaUK
      @LushAquaUK  3 года назад +1

      Hey Shera, a good water conditioner is designed to remove dissolved chemicals from your water. Stored water is always a cheaper alternative, and involves lesser risk of temperature difference etc. You can use tap water directly with a good water conditioner (for example: Seachem Prime). 300TDS would be fine to raise Discus, but 7.8 PH is a bit higher. Your best option would be to source a good local breeder and buy your Discus from him, so the fish already used to your water parameters.
