I won't tell you what you "should" do, but I'll share what I did and why I did it. Firstly, I'm not off-grid, but wish I was, You guys are living my dream. I had my solar installed by a solar company, but I chose ground mount over roof mount primarily because we just had our roof replaced, and adding panels would void the roof warranty. I never liked the idea of drilling hundreds of possible leak points on the roof just so I don't have to see the panels in the back yard. So, I thought I would make double use of the ground-mounted panel installation by turning it into a chicken run. I even built the coop underneath the panels. This worked out splendidly. To each his own. If you think they're ugly, do what you have to. To me, they look very cool and futuristic. LOVE your channel! Take care.
Sorry to here about your dog. We are praying for you all. We have been through our dog snapping his leg in half and that was dramatic, I couldn’t imagine the pain you all are going through! God gots you guys! Are family has been through so much since November surgeries and close to death and more hospitals and doctors. I always go back to God gots us. And the thing I always say to my family is” I can’t wait to see what the Lord will do for us”! God comes through for us every time and the enemy tries to attack and steal our Joy! All I can say is “I can’t wait to see what the Lord will do for you Guys!
So glad Nitro is doing so good. My brother had 2 dogs that died from it. He was told to not let his dogs out right after eating. So they didn’t go running around.
Do you have 2 other containers where the shop is going? Pour foundation, build the roof using the containers as walls. Just a suggestion. Good luck and get well fast Nitro!
I know just how you feel about your (kid) dog. About 5 years after my wife passed and feeling what’s the use I seen a picture of my now (kid) dog. She probably saved my life. I’m like you 2, I would do and spend whatever just to keep her around. Your story about him bro tears to this old man’s eyes. So glad he pulled through. I love people that love and care for there pets like yourselves. 👍

I’m so glad Nitro is doing good. I had to send my boxer Bella to heaven Tuesday. I fell apart. She was only 7. She had cancer and I didn’t know. It’s so hard. Our fur babies are like are our children. Best of luck.

I'm so glad Nitro was able to pull through that terrible ordeal. God was with him and answered your prayers!!! Many of us identify with the need to watch finances, wait until funds are there to do projects and such, so fully understand you prioritizing Nitro's care first and managing projects as those funds come in. You guys are so lucky that you were home and rushed him to the vet. Our husky Niki was home and we were out for dinner and she passed away extremely sad by her loss. She was only 3 years old old and this occurs him in big dogs. So happy Nitro is ok. Thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery .

So glad he’s home and stabilized. Healing is so much faster at home w/mom n dad!! A few days ago, at your request for Nitro, I was praying for his survival. Sadly, now I’m praying for my girl. She had a mass removal/biopsy last Friday. She is dx w/Lymphoma on Wednesday. She’s only 3. My heart is breaking! She sees an oncology in 2 weeks. 😢
Prayers for Nitro! We had the same thing happen with our horse, $5,000 and a week in the equine hospital and she has been good for the last 5 years! Praying the same for Nitro.

That happened to my lab after she ate in the morning, we let her out right after she ate to do her business and down the steps. But an hour later we noticed that she was in herself drooling and hiding under the bed, didn’t wanna deal with anybody while growl at us when we got close. Finally got her and took her to the vet and that’s what happened. Flipped her stomach had surgery right away. In my opinion right after they eat, let them relax for about 10/15 minutes before letting them out and about. also, try not to let them inhale food quickly when eating Good luck

I've watched numerous video on wood burning stoves and the catalytic stoves are superior to the standard wood burning stove, Besides using less wood. The fact that you can control the rate of burn better makes it possible to make a burn last through the night which eliminates having to get up through the night to feed the fire. It also burns a lot cleaner which is safer. It burns so efficiently that it actually burns the smoke, that's why there is hardly any smoke coming out the chimney.

oh wow, a flipped stomach and trapped air, never good, glad he's sorted out though, hopefully the vet bills aren't as serious as they are here in the UK, i think even having the dog cremated costs the same as a small car, glad he's good and you know where to go next time, contingencies are always important my boy had a tumour at the rear end, common for similar dogs and size as Nitro, the scent gland becomes infected and cancerous, it was getting large, and since he only had one back leg, taking no 2s was becoming difficult, and i could tell the cancer was spreading to the lungs because of the smell - here in the UK treatment is mad, i think the initial check over and scan was over £500, then they offered to do blood tests and start treatment, perhaps an op, it was simply too much so the old boy had to go, he was border line too far gone, so it was kinder for him to go while it was less difficult for him i love the bad breath story, i used to look after another dog, she'd come over and give me a little kiss which i didn't mind, she was a tough dog with a soft side, and i'd wave my hand and make the sound 'poooooh' she'd react with a smile and nudge me, like she saying i'm so rude about her, i loved embarrassing her, was so funny

Maya probably has a bad tooth that needs pulled. My cat had the same problem and it’s fairly inexpensive. Give that a try with Maya and you’re vet.
