Remember as you said a lot has happened..it looks normal to me..remember no explanation is needed to the mess..that’s why they call it spring cleaning 😂..I’m so proud of you both
Remember to give yourselves grace! So much “life” has been happening in the past 6mths. It’s ok to take a break when needed. Never apologize for giving yourselves a day or night off here or there to recharge your batteries! Spring in the Midwest is hard to predict. Let’s just hope we don’t get any snow in April! 😂
Really glad RUclips recommended your channel, you two are the epitome of a good healthy relationship, both working hard towards a goal, both very natural as presenters on camera, couples like you two are what remind me that not everyone has gone nuts today, power on.
Hi Summer and Cody! The greenhouse didn't look that bad Summer, you've never seen the mess I can create in 6 months 🙃. Good call on removing that deteriroating tarp now, otherwise it would simply be a huge problem later as it deteriorates more and throw off more plastic shards. Very nice pics of you two and Nitro, that was a good idea to do. Have a great week ahead. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
Idea for the greenhouse... No clue if you could make it work or even if it will work. Corrugated roofing/ 1"×4" and pipe clamps/half staps. Run the 1"×4" down the greenhouse Long ways. Use the half straps to attach to the wire frame of the greenhouse. Attach the corrugated roofing to the 1"×4". I'm sure Cody could figure out a way to open the roof for ventilation or number the panels for easy off and on in spring /fall. Just a thought. Hope it helps.
To plant your garden find out when your last frost is in your area, i live in Md and i start planting my garden May 15th for cool weather plants and my tomatoes, peppers orka and so forth around june 15th, but check when your last frost is. Larry
It's probably to late to help you; but about the small pieces of plastic left in your green house. I had the same problem a couple of years ago. I took down the old covering, raked then grabbed my shop vac and put the wide suction nozzle on it and passed over the ground in quick passes. Worked great for me...
Girl your a force. You tore tgat greenhouse up then put it back together. Here in Wisconsin we had Temps in the 70s then snow. Welcome the world of wackey temps.
should add the leaves to bottom of beds for compost….Just a thought is all ..save getting rid of them ..they fill up space and break down under compost beautifully..I’ve done this with leaves and sticks for years ..worms love it …all the best from outback Western Australia
For ur green house beds add leaves to the bottom then layer with potting soil then leaves and potting soil and potting mix. U will be able to grow food like crazy. Also for out side garden make u raised beds and do the same but with more leaves and even old limbs then add ur soil and potting mix on top as the leaves and limbs break down they will add nutrients and ur plants will grow like crazy.
That's one of the saying we use here in Missouri ( if you don't like the weather just wait 5 minutes) then we will say ( that's why we call Missouri the Show-Me State because it'll show you all four seasons within 15 minutes).
I'm going to be putting in some solar/hydro later on. It's interesting to see all the implications that people like you have to put up with. Thanks for sharing honestly.
Cody and Summer, I've been enjoying your videos / content for some time now. If that small stream water is good and the conditions are right - you should look into what is needed to run a RAMP PUMP, and make one. Even if the stream does not flow all the time. If the conditions are right to be able to operate a Ramp Pump you can use it to top off your pond and/or provide water 24/7 for your garden needs. If it only flows some times you can use it to fill some of those food grade plastic tanks with the metal frames. Then gravity feed the water as needed for your Veggie garden. It will reduce the demand on your pond/house water, any electric pump and keep your solar backup power for more important things. Sure wish we had a stream on our property. As always - All the best to you both, Tony
That's what im worried about. The hail on my solar panels. I have bifacial ones, and usually, the hail we get in the Panhandle of Texas can be upward of baseball. Sooo yea, i hope we are good.
Love watching this channel. Makes me think about building something with my own hands. Trapped in a urban skyscraper city where everything done premanufactured.
Good Evening young couple, Summer, and Cody, love seeing you too!. What all that you our planning for today. I loved the video of you Wedding, it was beautiful a d so much fun! Setting here watching you on St. Patrick's day evening. Stay Safe, Keep the Faith, Keep on Smiling. Sending my love and God's blessings to you both.Wanda In N- E Corner of Ok . Bartlezville, Ok. Summer, an old broom and dust pan, works great in your green house.
I think everyone is experiencing your weather. I know we are in Eastern Washington. It's been a very weird winter here. Thankfully Spring has arrived. It's been so beautifully warm the last couple days. Rain is on its way, again. So tired of the mud.
Usually plant on or around Good Friday and I don’t know about your area but here west of Ft Worth I’ve seen many times that copperheads like to hide in empty flower pots so I learned my lesson when I got bit on my finger cleaning up just like you just did. Be careful. Love your videos.
Get an almanac and it will give you good dates to start different seeds indoors and out. It'll also tell you when fishing is best. I don't have a clue how they predict that but it seems to be close.
I will soon be 68 and I have had so many thoughts of moving out of the Subdivision my family and I live in. I love your content but regret not moving out to a place which would grow my family's future. My life is good, but I feel I could have done so much more the help my children and grandchildren if I had only stepped out and challenged our family situation. Thank you for your content.
I think I am planting some seeds today 3-18-24 in the basement under the grow light to be ready to plant out side on 4-18-24.We live in town so I am only planting flowers so I could be completely wrong but im giving it a shot. We live in the same planting zone as you.
Nitro looked happy with his photoshoot 😂. Your greenhouse looks normal after winter, it's not like you had it set up to grow winter vegies and honestly it may be a few years before you do as you have enough other projects to focus on. Just wondering, I can't remember what you were going to do with the well, do you plan to still try to drill it yourself? Have a great week and thanks for sharing ❤

Amen! I’ve got to get to my spring cleaning yet, been talking about it for a week but just haven’t found the time. 🤦♀️😊👍

Thanks for sharing another awesome video with us ❤ 🇺🇸
It’s usually after last frost. When you can start seedlings. 22:43
We live in MidMO and we have learned not to plant any flowers outside until after Mother's Day. It is not unusual to see frost in April.
looking great. beautiful photos with nitro. your place is really taking shape now. well done.
I didn’t clean my garden until February and I am still working on it

As a general rule start seedlings just before easter and get everything in the ground by Mother's Day.

I’m in western TN, started seeds in the house. Not going in the grow until 1st of April. Figure out what zone you are in and go from there.
I love the voice over..it was great
Howdy!
Great clean up on the greenhouse. I’m sure you’ll get everything in order in time. Looks great. I love the pictures with Nitro.

Ohhh dear me… welcome to Manitoba lol we have the same weather up here too.. it always changes.. we r getting whip lash out here lol
sounds like Texas weather. Had a tornado, hail and 80mph winds just this weekend around the Houston area.
Looks like you need more soil in the garden boxes

Looks like I got #2!
Nice
Good morning, how are you folks doing today?Hope everybody's having a wonderful day after keep up the good work and see you later
Love the video! Keep up the hard work 💪
Great job, nice video
Check your farmers almanac for planting different plants and when for your area.
You should be starting the in the greenhouse. Get a new cover.
Dump the soil In the plant pots into the beds along with the leaves
Put your leaves in your boxes then cover with dirt. As they rot it adds nitrogen to your soil.
Hello! Do either of you a full time job or is RUclips your job? Seems like you guys get a lot done! Great clean up!
GET A FARMER ALLMANAC , THERE ARE SEVERAL TO CHOOSE FROM, IT'LL SHOW YOUR ZONE AND HELP YOU FIND THE PLANNTS FOR IT
We experience the same weather patterns in Georgia. 🤣😂
Great job you two, keep up the good work😊😮💜🇱🇷
ya if you guy buy 6 to 8 mil plastic to recover the high tunnel green house it last longer and better for you
Get you a broom and sweep it up that might work
I always buy UV rated items...
Do you still have the second cat
Put your leaves in the planter boxes
Yey ❤🎉
❤️❤️👍👍🇨🇦
50 degrees ,,start getting ur seeds planted
You guys are soo cute ❤
Next time use a shop vacuum for the leftover plastic pieces
❤❤❤❤
would you ever put like a mesh netting a couple inches above the panels to protect from hail?
👍
💞
Is it spring or winter, LOL.
We don't plant until Mothers day.
