I feel like a broken record but, this is absolutely the crème de la crème of short bouldering films. You've brought the warmth of a great day out climbing & wandering, and perfectly paired it with quality videography and crispy audio (your sound design gets better and better!). Thanks for lifting my mood and giving me a happy escape from my mountain of study. Have a wonderful day, you lot! ☀
What a wonderful video. The content on this channel is next level, love the shots and the music. It feels more like art to me than climbing content and it gets me so psyched to go outdoors, try hard, and just enjoy the peaks. Please keep it up, honestly incredible work. Also, Jim is just immense, the way he moves on grit blows my mind, what a guy.
Consistently excellent vids. Filmography and editing is outstanding; colour correction is absolutely on point (I feel like theres a certain atmosphere/ambiance to all wedge films). Congrats Jim on all the FA's, always a pleasure to watch and follow your climbing! And keep up the stellar film making Sam!
Amazing! Love the quality. Really enjoyed the segment of meat hooks, easy music in the background and no annoying rap like on many other channels! Keep it that way =)
So good. Brilliantly told short story. Theres obviously a serious amount of work and care gone into this and it shows. The content keeps getting better, keep up the good work!!
So cool, great vid, wonderful area! And a lot of FA's in a 'doable' range too! Getting warm now, but might have to pop there and have a look-see.. First some Anston action later today. Psyched for there Brione vids!
Would there potentially be some information on the nerdy camera gear side of things that you use? From shooting (gear/settings/filters etc) through to colour grading and editing? This would surely be something a few people would be interested in. Gorgeous as always!
Thanks! This was filmed on a Sony A7Siii in S-log3 with mainly the Sony 24mm GM lens and Sigma 24-70 f2.8. All edited and colour graded in Premiere pro 👍
The action shots of Jim pointing at new boulders was comedy. I watched the video of Jims first day of Trad on UKC before this for context, strange to compare the two.
I think there's a new peak bouldering guide coming out sometime soon (hopefully) that Jon Fullwood is helping out with, so that should be pretty comprehensive
Loved this video. Always great to see all the hard work that goes into new areas and the video just had a really nice vibe to it too. Plus that slab looks class!
This video is absolutely next level! Great to see that there are still secluded beautiful areas in the Peak with room for development.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed 😁
There are definitely still a few spots like this kicking around 👌
"Father I compress" has to be one of the best boulder names I've heard in a while
😂 very happy with that one...
Agreed! Love a clever boulder name!
beat me to it!
Made me smile 😃

What soundtracks were played in the videos?? Definitely enjoyed that
I'll get a tracklist added to the description
Music combines with the ambience so nicely, inner peace this is. Song list?
Thanks! I'll add one to the description 👍
makes me happy
I'm glad :D

Also, write a guidebook please!
I think there's a new peak bouldering guide coming out sometime soon (hopefully) that Jon Fullwood is helping out with, so that should be pretty comprehensive
Also the soundtrack is sooo good, can you share which songs you picked?
Thanks! I'll get round to putting together a tracklist soon 👍
@@WEDGECLIMBING cheers mate, keep up the awesome content!

What song is playing through this? It’s wonderful!
Oh sugar ! He's found Wyming Brook.
😂
Great content mate. Quick question - what camera + lens + gimbal set up are you using? I love the quality of your videos. Thanks in advance.
Thanks!
I've got a Sony A7Siii with mainly a 24-70mm lens and a 24mm prime. I've also got a DJI ronin S 👍
@@WEDGECLIMBING awesome - seriously love your shooting style. Have a great day.
@@thewongbeta thanks 😁 you too!
meat hooks looks like such a cool line. Gotta become an 8a boulderer so I can send it.
💪 it's definitely meaty...
Man, I want to climb here
"Massive pebbles on grit". Sure Jim, look "massive" 😂
Also great vid!
Thanks!
Belter, as always!

do you keep track of those new lines somewhere online, like 27crags f.e.?
They're all on UKC and written up on UKB as well
