- Spooks! I was really feelin' this group. Haven't heard from them for quite a while though. This is the second version of their video for "Things I've Seen."

I remember this song, it was a cold winter 8 years a go. My mother was in hospital with a serious braininjury and I didn't understand what happend. This song makes me a bid sad when I think back to that period. Love you mom ;(

Une des chansons les plus sombres du hip-hop moderne. Les paroles sont aussi menaçantes et représentatives de la violence de la vie en cité et même plus encore.
Dommage que ce groupe si prometteur n'ait pas survécu à la mort d'un de leurs membres.

When this song came out, I used to live in one of France's most violent hoods ever.
24 years after, I left it and graduated with two Master's degrees.
Many friends didn't make it and are either dead or in jail.
The lyrics seem genuinely ominous pertaining to not only my life but how the world turned out to become.
I love this song one of my favorite. Sad this group never Reales another album.

Spooks gave us great songs and just disappeared on us? What happened to them? Great music from an awesome group. That lady has the voice of an angel. I just anticipate hearing her voice in the chorus.

Heard a piece about this group on The Moth podcast and looked this up. I remember it so well! It's a bummer that their career was cut short, and not by any errors on their part. It stinks when things that have nothing to do with the artists change their future so permanently. Glad for the music. Sad for the outcome.

I remember the early 2000s when this, dialated peoples, wu tang, dead prez,, outkast, wu tang, xzibit, dr dre and all kinds of real hip hop groups got amazing songs played on day time radio in the uk of all places. it just makes me sad that all these so called rappers are popular these days and the kids that were as old as I was back then might never here this kind of music
