I've since upgraded to the over $400 market, but my first handgun was a Taurus G3C, and it was rock solid. From what I understand, the G2C is almost the same gun and can be had for under $300 if you take your time looking and want to get extra super affordable.
Been edc my G2c for almost 3 years. Love it. My wife's home office/edc is the Taurus G3c.
G2c has been great to me for real it so smooth and never had any issues even with steel shells
I bought my G2C in .40 last year for $235

Upgrade to the gx4. I got mine for 300. Best money I ever spent, and I already have a g2c
Feels there’s a glaring hole without the PSA dagger or rock.
I'd make the same argument for the Arex Delta. We could make a longer video and include more options, but it's hard to include them all.

I love my Dagger compact. I think there are mechanically superior options in the price range, but that Glock compatibility is a hell of a selling point, and the Dagger is plenty mechanically sound enough.
Dagger is definitely missing.

I carry a CZ P10C during winter. I paid $550 a year and a half ago. It's super legit. Incredible ergos, trigger, reliability.
It's such a great gun I carry one also with Cajun Gun Works trigger, rod and spring with a little holosun on it
Im on the fence about that one vs the beretta shown here as my first hand gun.
They are under $350 now !

My EDC is the Taurus G2C. A solid handgun for under $300. I want to buy me a Canik. I keep hearing great things about it.

Great choice with the Tisas. I just purchased a Tisas Stingray 9mm 1911 commander style. $530. With 400 rnds in, 0 malfunctions, and very accurate. I'd recommend over a kimber or similar any day.
That Beretta APX in a compact version is something I want.

New subscriber here. Hoping you continue reviewing handguns for the budget-minded of us out here. Too many RUclipsrs focus on guns most of us can't afford. Staccato and Dan Wesson might be awesome, but very few of us can afford them. And, it's nice to know which ones are reliable and which aren't, because for edc, reliability and owner-confidence in the firearm is the priority. Thanks for a great, no-bs review. 🤠

Love my GX4 T.O.R.O. it's one of my EDC's in my current rotation. It's worth noting that you could get either a pinky extension, or the extented 13 round mag for those with larger hands and/or those who may just want more rounds.

A friend has a Masada Slim. Nice gun. Just fired one mag through it, but I did like it a lot.
That Bersa is sweet. They also have a compact version of this gun.
I just love my Beretta APX A1 Full size! It was just a little over $400 but man , what a sweet pistol!
If I had to only pick one, the CZ P10C would be my choice. 👍🏻
Missed the SAR B6 or B6C, affordable and reliable CZ 75 clones from Turkey. Glad to see Tisas 1911 on the list.

Stoeger STR9? Try this one. Feels like an old favorite first time you pick it up. I had slide cut for optic and have several hundred rounds thru mine. So far, flawless.
The GX4XL looks great for conceal carry. I had no interest in the GX4 since I already have the G3c, but I may get the GX4XL for EDC.
I went from a G2c, to a P10c, and there’s no comparison…the p10c is in a totally different class…I’m buying another…lol! Oh and I’ve put 2200 through it in 4months…0 failures…
I agree with the Beretta, canik, and CZ for the other three I have no previous experience with I know recently Taurus came out notifying that some pistols weren't drop safe again Taurus and SIG really need to work on that 😂

Arex delta m , IWI Masada/Masada slim & the SAR9 family of pistols would be my choices for best values under $400

The Canik MC9 pretty much made the TP9 SC obsolete. Also, Masada!!!

Seen plenty gun review channels but the way you two flow together and give some great insight into the performance of these guns but also some insight on what bang is worth a buck.

Feb 28 2024 my new Beretta APX 1A full size $388 minus a 100 dollar discount from Beretta. To disassemble it, the lever is very tight at the beginning, but after 300 rounds it is perfect.
Any opinions on the PSA dagger? I bought 1 and it came with 11 magazines 6 15rd and 5 27rd. It was $399 with all the mags. I wanted to get another as a backup.

@@__Ryan_it is! I can even use them with my sub2k and glock. Other than my semiautomatic bull pup, I wanted to just have one type of ammo. Keeping it simple.

Nothing wrong with a dagger, it’s my go to for now, till I get more comfortable with my APX A1 tactical.
Awesome review. I was soooo happy to see the Beretta apx a1 on there. Not enough love on other channels even though it's an amazing gun. With all the research I did on it and then it had a rebate sale combo so I "pulled the trigger" and bought my first gun. I got the optics setup. Already put over 500 rounds through, and my wife loves shooting it also . I recommend scooping it up
Taurus G3 is good a bit smaller on the handle but all around good for the price range

**It is not ambidextrous if you have to switch the magazine release, it is only switchable.

I have a Bersa Thunder CC 380 and it has been flawless. Actually full time carry it over several others I own. Tons of excellent reviews.

Good video. The only thing I would say that I did not like is what you said on the Taurus. You said that you have been lucky so far with your Taurus choices. If you have to put the word luck in then it probably should not be in your list. Just my thought. Otherwise really liked the vide and got some good info, especially on the Bersa which I will check out.

I own a CZ P10F which I love for the long grip for my XXL hands. Will the P10C fit me in your opinion? Obviously for me anyway the full size is too big to carry. Thinking the C would fit the bill for that?

@ninja393 The most underrated pistol on the market is the TPR. Would have liked to have seen at least one revolver and there are some under $400. Nothing but autoloaders. So no wheel love.
The TPR9c is my summer EDC. I still want to buy the full size though.
@@thejazzpreacher definitely do. I've got the threaded barrel full size and its so easy to shoot fast I want to do some competitions with it. In case you haven't, change the sights out. Sig pattern sights fit and mine looks great with the xray sights i put on it.
My two favorite on there. I've heard about the SAR lately and would like to try one and don't have an opinion on it yet
All I had were .40S&W (1st gen Glock 22 and a S&W M&P Shield... yeah... bought the hype). So, in deciding to try out 9mils... the SAR 9 was my 1st foray. I highly recommend it! Solid weapon. Then got a S&W Shield Plus for concealed carry. My Canik Mete SFT arrives in 2 days! I've totally fallen in love with the Turkish handguns. You won't go wrong getting a SAR.

There are a ton of good pistols out there. That is good for consumers. I have an old G19 gen3. Still carrying it. Still works great. Wish I needed another pistol.

I personally would go with the Taurus G3. It was $300 even last time I checked, and I've heard nothing but great reviews about it.
Isn't it funny that everything on the table other then the 1911 looks like a newer Walther. Kinda shows you a brand name isn't always worth the price lol

It's impossible to find CZ P10's in stock anywhere near me so I think they must be the best gun for the money. I am aware of CZ quality historically speaking because I"m more of a collector so I"m not surprised.
CZ P10 is an awesome pistol. Is it better than the Glock? We can answer that question in about another 35 years. You see the G17 has been kicking as since1982. The CZP10 has only been around 6 years...mind your elders LMAO!
Nah CZ shits rock solid, they don't sell BS, there's a reason the 75 is between $550-$700+, and the newer shits like a band or two, they make quality not quantity

I have a real nice security 9 and it hasn't yet had any issues, plus I have 2 P 89's 1 D cocker model and 1 safety model I bought the security 9 brand new and the p89s used ,the p89s where never fired, until I bought them they eat everything including steel case never had aby hiccups and I got them all for less than 350.00 a piece

Cause I've been looking at the tp9, I need a budget handgun as close to s full size as possible and I have big hands, everything I've tried so far my pinky hangs overboard lol it's all too small, any advice
I would say the Canik TP9SF elite is a better gun than the SC and should have been showcased instead
