Luv those late 60’s Hemi Barracudas much more than the ‘70 and later models.

Thanks Bobby, that was really well done ! I'm partial to the Darts myself, not nearly as many of them. Nice to see Eric Bell in Bob Mazzolini's old car. Far better than watching Pro Stock !
(especially if you're a Mopar guy.)

The most intriguing thing to me about all the hemi stuff is the fact that they don't let those cars free rev in the burnout box, Wouldn't the harmonics of the rev limiter be more harmful than free revving that deal a little higher with no load on the engine? Or am I a complete idiot ? That is most likely the case.

I've read that the harmonics of rev limiter in burnout can be bad. I use a rev limiter in my burnout and it is set pretty high and then I feather the throttle on the way out. I don't know why the hemi cars do it the way they do but I figure in 2022 they must have it figured out. Who knows?

Are there a lot more 4 speeds than there used to be?

Yes way more but I am not sure there is any kind of weight break anymore. I think they just have them figured out to be quicker at this point.
