I feel so lucky to live in Frankfurt :) No waitlists here and the watches are sold cheaper by Sinn. Another cool thing is , that you can actually go buy watches straight at their factory , instead of buying them at the Sinn boutique in downtown Frankfurt
I really want to get a Sinn104 with a fine link bracelet. The build quality looks great with perfect dimensions. I also like the unique bidirectional bezel. I need to save up!
I have the Blue limited Edition only 1000 made, Sinn 104 St Sa ABE, I simply love the watch, I must admit I get as many questions on this watch as my Rolex Batman and once I say the name they are like What? Who? lol I purchased mine used, but doesn't matter last guys loss lol, But I am thinking of getting the Green one Sinn 104 St Sa AG, asking price is $3K , I am trying to wait out for a guy who has fallen out of love for his and then maybe i'll get a deal lol Mr Rob you out of love with yours yet, Hint Hint... great video thanks for the review I have my Blue on a Nato Straps and it is simply gorgeous . Thanks again
Nice video Rob. This Sinn seems to be in the same price range of an Oris 65. While they have different looking dials, movements, etc., I’m wondering how you might compare the two watches, (provided you are familiar with Oris 65). Not expecting you to do any work to get an answer to my question, just thought I’d take a chance to see if you have any off the cuff thoughts/comments. Thanks. Good job on the video!
I have owned two Sinn 104’s , but both left my collection quite quickly.. My issue with Sinn is both the bracelet and the size, I’ve got a 7” wrist, but my sweet spot is 42mm. is there a huge difference between a 41 and a 42 mm watch, the answer is no, but I think we have gotten too obsessed with sizes, there isn’t more than 2 mm difference between my Oyster Perpetual and the 104, but still the Oyster Perpetual has more wrist presence. And before you start screaming at me, we are talking about two totally different watches where one is in the UEFA cup and the Rolex is in the Champions League. But I feel much more comfortable wearing my Oyster Perpetual or the Explorer || than the, Sinn 104, myExplorer || is a 42 mm black dial and it’s just fantastic, in fact I like it much better than my Submariners . I can wear a 39 and a 44 mm watch without any issue, but my problem with Sinn, is the way it it wears on my wrist. I know lots of watch enthusiasts love the Sinn 104, but I have to say , they are not ticking my boxes. My Planet Ocean 8900, for instance, went on the chopping block, because it was too bulky and too thick, but the movement is just fantastic. Sinn has fallen between the more expensive micro brands and the luxury watch category, don’t misunderstand me, they are great watches and they keep their value. But they don’t have that little extra which ticks my box. Due to the bracelet and they way they wear on my wrist. But I really love the design of the Sinn 104, so from my subjective humble point of view, they are great watches, but they have to fit your wrist otherwise it isn’t worth paying the price they demand. I know I will receive a lot of criticism for saying this, but this is just my humble subjective opinion.
Sometimes the size, parts, and brand can all add up, but still fail to please. It’s a great time to be in the hobby, should always be able to find watches that you will want to wear. Wanting to wear because you want to and not because others think you should. You sir know how to recognize what you want and run with it, well done!
Just got this on the second hand market.... and i really love it. Already own the blue dial... these are just so well proportioned great watches. My only disappointment is that the ETA movement is nowhere near as accurate as the blue dial Selita. The green dial is a keeper for me.... it's just really unique.....
Is the time readable throughout the night? I’m saving money for the 104 and I like the Arabic version better. I don’t take off my watch at night so I was wondering how long does the lume last. I guess the indices version is better but I really hope the Arabic is good enough, still...
Hmm, nice one! I would like a 104 in some other color than black cause I have a black Speedmaster Reduced and they would be too similar. For the same reason I would prefer Arabic numerals. So it seems this one is the only possibility for me... I wish that Sinn would make a white dail version with Arabic numerals - I would really like that... It’s often a problem achieving enough variation in a collection I think. If two pieces are too similar you’ll end up neglecting one of them - in the end even selling one. That’s a pity when you’ve spent a lot of money on them😊
I have the black version with arabic numerals. I don’t like green watched, but I have to say this one is really striking. I would have gotten it had I had the funds.
I initially was leaning towards fine link bracelet but am starting to move towards H Link. The clasp on H Link seems larger then it needs to be. Does that bother you? I would love to see you compare bracelets. This watch is probably going to be next one I buy. I'm starting to save now and will need to convince wife spending $1600 is a good idea considering my moded SKX007 with DD Saph, Lumed Bezel, and Miltat Bracelet cost me under $500 from Island Watch.

Cool looking piece. I like that their starting to add more color to the lineup
Got mine yesterday, my first Sinn and I am very impressed. Definitely feels more like a $3000 watch.
No more watches for me. I just ordered a Monta Skyquest and after that I'm cutting myself off for awhile. This hobby is becoming unhealthy
There are ways to refresh and keep the hobby fun.
Random Rob yes my wife says I gotta sell one to get a new one and I’m finding this works most of the time but I do see some rebuys coming 🤔
Just got mine in today can’t wait to size it looks like a fantastic watch

Save up or maybe sell a few? The money builds fast if you really want it to.
Great watch. I have the black dial with indexes. I opted for the leather strap, it's a great strap but should have got it with the h link bracelet.
The Sinn is a keeper! Thanks for the review of your new purchase!
That green is beautiful. I hope you are going to keep that one. Thanks, RR.

I have one. Great watch. Dial is very special.
Of all the watches you have, this one looks best on your wrist.
Thanks
Very nice & congratulations on your new addition 👍🍻
nice watch I'm holding off big buys at the moment but an orris would appeal

I Cant wait until my Deja Blue Limited edition arrives:)
Yeah I ordered one too, looks killer.

Honest wanted the green just because it is rare, but I know I want the white more. I dont like the shade of green but im still torn.
Hmm, nice one!

Fully polished case, with a mostly brushed bracelet. I don't get it.
Elijs Dima I know! Looks like shit 😂
Great review as usual! Order placed :)
If Sinn ever update there clasps I will get myself a U1
But it's not orange! Green seems to be the colour of the year. Seriously, do enjoy it. It's a keeper.
Wish they’d do the white dial with black numbers. Agh.
Missed out on this! Now it cost like an arm and leg :)

Question Rob the Casio combi bracelet how’s it how Scratches/dings or the plating longevity wearing off

@Josh Price did you mean a "divorced gentleman" lol
One watch to rule them all.
But is he keeping it? 😂
For those on a tight budget, if you love the original version, I suggest what I did with my Seiko snzh55. It's now an S104.
Is that a black day/date wheel on a green dial?
Yes
Looks good
“Keeping it in a collection”, sure, for like a month
Maybe. Never know. Rolex air king keeps calling me too
What are your thoughts on the h-link bracelet and clasp Rob?
Works good. No issue
The clasp feels really cheap so don't have high hopes but like Rob writes it works good
Thanks lads
will you aaaactually keep it though? :p
One day at a time
Hats off to RR! While other watch guys are trending towards talking-heads, this is pure watch porn. Awesome watch 😍
