My first bike was an 82 Suzuki gn250. These type of bikes are my favorite, they have soul and attitude. Be it good or bad. Lol

You should weld in a rear loop for the frame

Swap carb to a slide carb for better throttle and cut down trailer fender for mud guard. Nice little thumper

Hi Josh nice build. I am inspired by this build! I recently purchased a Yamaha 185 Exciter thinking of doing this similar look. Can u send me some links to the aftermarket parts you've used for this build?

What size tires are on it?

Very nice. Hey what jet sizes do you have in the carb? And also, what is the fuel/air screw set at? I’m having issues with my SR250 with the pod filter. Thanks.

Solid questions! I don't actually remember...it's probably in an old video, but I haven't gotten it dialed in at all. I had the fuel/air screw set 4 twists out and it seemed to like that. I had a hard time focusing on that when it was leaking oil everywhere : ) I just fixed that though! ..hopefully...haven't been able to try since it's still snowing out...

Ahh I see. I have the same bike. I’ve been having a hell of a time getting it to run right. Starts up and idles fine and will ride for about 20 minutes and then it’ll start cutting out with throttle. It’s been...frustrating to say the least lol.

Nice Sr, I have one too. Been using Jadus parts as well. What size main jet did you use?

This is incredibly weird. I'm busy building an sr250 and it's almost identical to yours. Let me know if you want me to send you photos
