  • A 'must see' for United supporters. Manchester United play a testimonial match for Alex Ferguson in which the opponents are former United players and legends. (Cantona returns to Old Trafford)
    Image quality somewhat reduced, and with Norwegian commentary.
    PS! A lot of people have asked why Beckham is playing for the "Legends team", even though he was still a United player at the time. Allegedly the reason is that Andrei Kanchelskis had to pull out of the legends team on short notice, and therefore Beckham took his place.

    The "present" United were playing against an early 90s United. Schmeichel had left for Sporting Lisbon, but brought in for the "oldies". And from what I understand, Beckham had to fill in for Kanchelskis who couldn't turn up to play for the early 90s team.

    well, Madrid is like Liverpool, all they can talk about is history... "OH we won that in 1960, oh we won that in 1970..."
    well, too fucking bad for Madrid, not a single title this year, only thing that you guys make it big is the spending... at least United won the Carling cup and is consider as the best in England...
    What about Madrid? What did they win this year??? oh right, they won "2010 joke of the year".

  • @BlackJesus790
    @BlackJesus790 14 лет назад

    So Real Madrid just recently bought all their good players? Woooow and you guys expect them to be amazing right off the bat?? Stupidity is a bitch. Yea Madrid's players said they were gonna win this and that but everyone needs motivation. If you don't aim big you're never gonna succeed. A team needs time to get itself organized and so the players cooperate with each other. Look at barca.

  • @timmyfung01
    @timmyfung01 14 лет назад

    @ilias2oo6
    yap, keep on with the "we are the richest bitches in the world" attitude, I am sure as hell that Madrid will be more "successfull" with people like you.
    Money can buy a lot of things, but they can never buy something what we call "passion", "respect" and "glory"
    btw, congratulation to the lost of Lyon, LOL, even Lyon whooped Madrid's ass in the CL, 250 millions of waste. LOL

  • @timmyfung01
    @timmyfung01 14 лет назад

    @sandrockal
    I don't mean it by using national players or not, what I mean is, spending too much is a really ugly way to run business.
    I don't expect world's top clubs like United or Madrid to say they are completely sport spirit oriented and not run by money, but there should be a point to distinguish between a money club and great club. Madrid clearly show that they are one.
    as in for United, most legends were created in United, very few of them is bought.

  • @timmyfung01
    @timmyfung01 14 лет назад

    we are in debt because of Glazers, even so, Manchester United is solving it's financial debt, it will take time, but will be solve, the income statement prove so.
    beside, Fergie's suggestion will be the major concern for the Glazer. Fergie is going to select a wise individual for his successor instead of randomly picking it, that means that the coming manager will be a good one.
    What about you? I doubt the team that you support is crap, that is why you are here showing how jealous you are.

  • @SirTAH
    @SirTAH  17 лет назад

    He was playing for Southampton at the time, and had previously played for Chelsea... therefore I suppose some booed him for being an opposition player in the Prem league.

    It;s from my era 1980 onwards that's why Georgie Best isn't there.
    I take it you don't remember the 80's or you'd defenately would have Bryan Robson in your team, because he's the best central misfielder United have ever had even better than Keane and Scholes.
    As for Beckham I think you're having a laugh there.

  • @BobLawless
    @BobLawless 14 лет назад

    @timmyfung01 are you kidding? im Scottish, never have been a madrid fan never will, im just proving the point that they are amazing, im a Chelsea fan through and through, and the fact is you say madrid have money, well man u are 170 mil in debt, have a great time paying that off. June 2011, the tax man cometh, you better have that money ;)

  • @BobLawless
    @BobLawless 14 лет назад

    @timmyfung01 history? is that like 7 consecutive champions league titles?:) oh no wait, that was Real Madrid ;-), or how about winning the league title 8 years in a row? :) ohhh no wait, madrid again :L you won the treble once?:) madrid have won it 4 times :-) so lets compare that history, thank you and goodnight ;)

  • @timmyfung01
    @timmyfung01 14 лет назад

    @parapapavideomaker
    you don't have to see, Barcel already won it.
    see it this way, if you give Barcel or United 125 millions to spend in the transfer window (half of what Madrid spent). either Barcel or United would have dominated their league and the CL already.
    but look at Madrid and Man Shity, you don't need me to tell you they are failures.

  • @timmyfung01
    @timmyfung01 14 лет назад

    @parapapavideomaker
    wrong guess, I ain't Barcel fans, I like Messi and Ronaldinho, but I ain't Barcel fans.
    like I said, what Madrid and Man Shity did in last summer was a shame to the sport. thank God that Man Shity is out of the top 4 and I think that Madrid is not going to win the La Liga this year.

  • @timmyfung01
    @timmyfung01 14 лет назад

    @ilias2oo6
    CR cost 80 mil pounds, Kaka cost 56 mil pounds, Xiabi Alonso cost 30, Benzema cost 40, and there are cost on other players too.
    if you combine them, they cost for around 250 millions. Do they worth 250 mils??? I don't know, I am not Perez and I am not the one paying 250 mil and make it into a failure.
