I've had a really bad experience where the person was late 50 minutes and spent 10 minutes doing research (which he should've done beforehand) and haggled the price down lower. Honestly, some people are scum.
I been troll before by some buyer, it sucks man.
Did you end up taking less? I personally wouldn't ever accept a lower offer in person (unless they were short like $5 or less or they point out something wrong I didn't realize) as that's something that should be done before ever meeting up. I know it might not be worth it to say no depending on the offer, the drive, and the wait, but I do it out of principle
@@Davidx_117 I did have to end up taking less since I really had no need for it and I basically got it for free. I already waited for that guy for 50 minutes. Even got rated a 4 star...
@@ryzhe830 i always agree to a price before hand if they show up with even like 5% less in person, i literally say "oh shit, that sucks, HMU when you get agreed upon amount" and leave.
I was selling an rtx 2080 and one buyer told me he would pay more so I wanted to sell it to him. I told my first buyer I had a higher offer and he told me I wasn't being a good seller by going with a later offer, so I told him fine I'll sell it to you. Day comes and last minute he tells me he couldn't come, and kept making more excuses the next day. I just ended up selling to someone else

In my country 2/3 gb older cards like gtx 750ti are asked ALOT for 100+ euros
Budget builders would love your cards in this horrible market! Which cards by the way, I'd it's anything around the performance of a GTX 960 or better that'll let people play at 1080p low I'd think it would move quick because there really isn't any alternative from current gen

This RX 560 is equivalent to R9 270X which I've sold for $30 back in 2017 and bought brand new for $100 in around 2015.
That's crazy how Covid has impacted the prices so even "e-waste" like that was going +- $100, before covid I've even seen RX 480's going for as low as $60.
I just recently upgraded from a gtx 970 to a gtx 1080. Crazy difference. My friend and I bought a pc off this guy on offerup; it had a 1080, 8700k, 16gb of ram, and he had it listed at $800. he undervalued it like $600. I was initially looking to resell it, but my friend put the idea in my head to keep the 1080. We ended up putting the 970 I had into the build and sell it to another friend for 800. So I basically got a 1080 for what I paid for the 970 ($120). I am most likely not going to upgrade until the next series of graphics cards comes out.

It's sad that in the use market now, only seller are buying to sell. Not too many buyer anymore considering how bad the prices are.
Is just me or my area when I feel like thee last 2-3 have been a nightmare trying to buy and sell used goods locally. Ive been buy/selling off and on for 15 years and it was always pretty hassle free and no Bullshit but these days I hate posting the things I need to Sell, which is the opposite of what it used to be. I used to really enjoy selling and buying good deals on things. Even going to Thrift stores 3 times a week was a great way to relieve stress. Now, even the Thrift stores triple the price. Goodwill for instance, Nice jeans 5 years ago were roughly $7 but now theyre $15-$25. Its like this whole world I used to enjoy doesn't exist anymore. 9/10 times people end up wasting my time, stringing me along for days to then back out of the deal, etc) Its getting to the point Im just a straight asshole to people now who ask about what I'm selling. Not always but I know it doesn't help, dealing with people just makes me pissed because I now the outcome will be fruitless most the time these days. In my experience they are so flakey, dont take it seriously, or even care about if they agreed to meet up and we had a deal to turn around and sell it to someone else. I still try to be that small percentage of people who provides a hassle free Sale or Buy, because the Integrity and sense of respect of it all seems to have just disappeared and hopefully buy showing other by Example, it can rub off on people.
I sell PC's to, and have many card still. I hate miners, so I just sell at the higher prices, since you never know if a miner is just trying to buy the cards at a low prices.

Man I just picked up my gtx 970 for 100 bucks and omg it's so good I get 200+ fps on fortnite, 100 fps on apex legends, and I'm trying warzone next.
Warzone gets me around 45 FPS average on ultra for my 1650 OC at 1740 clock speed and memory 6050mhz so I think for you it’d be around 36-40 FPS reply when you try it :)

Your ad was not the best but your communication was great. I once was selling a card and the person was terrible at communication, they thought the meet up time was when they should leave their house. I ended up waiting for over 30 min and had the weirdest excange ever.

im building my first custom rig right now and have everything but a good gpu. all i want is a gtx1080 8gb (non ti) because i am currently using a prebuilt with a gtx 1050 ti sc 4gb. i want to do more and better gaming. my new build consists of a i5-10400, gigabyte b460m ds3h, 32gb oloy ddr4 3000mhz(4x8gb), crucial p1500gb nvme ssd, evga 450br psu, deepcool matrexx 30 case. i just need a good gpu for it.
I play all my games on ultra (except cyberpunk which I don’t play no more) on a rtx 2060 and an i7 2600 and I’m happy

Seems like the GPU madness will be hopefully normal by end of Q4. I'm assuming that's when prices will be "normal." I am scared of next gen prices as AMD and Nvidia know people will open their wallets like madmen for GPUs. Not sure we will see as big a price to performance jump as the rumors have been implying.
It's very unlikely prices will return to normal this year, I see prices dropping by the end of the year but definitely not to normal levels. Next gen prices are certainly something to worry about, but both NVIDIA and AMD know this demand won't last and is an outlier
