It's built with a whole bunch of bearings. A regular treadmill just overcomes friction with the motor and motors are cheap. Think vacuum cleaner. As a senior citizen who already has a traditional motorized treadmill with a lifetime warranty, I wouldn't get this manual curved treadmill. If I were a younger person who didn't already have a treadmill I would definitely be interested. This was a really great informative video. I enjoyed seeing the kids in the video. 10 for 10 on this review. You hit the pros n cons spot on with what to expect and what it won't do. How is the deck length? (made sure to check spelling on that word) After owning the Nordic commercial 1750 for years, I couldn't stop the want of a manual. Haven't been back on the motor-mill since getting the curve. Hey there; sub 3 hr marathoner here … Treadmills are helpful training tools that absolutely will translate to road running. @NoFate247 they are not bad. The cups themselves are small, just enough to cradle the bar. They use a thick plastic and are felt lined to protect the rack.

I don’t understand how something that doesn’t have a motor costs more than one with a motor.
Cause it's a free runner, it's not the same internal belt design of one with a motor.
