- How fast is the Audi B9 S4? We take our stock B9 S4 for Launch Control to see how fast it is before we tune it! The Audi B9 S4 is marketed for a 4.2 second 0-60 and in todays video we see if we can come close to it! The B9 S4 is a quick car from factory and after Stage 1+ Tune from Unitronic we will re run to see how fast we can go!

One thing to remember is Motortrend (and all publications) record 0-60 with 1ft of rollout which generally equates to about 0.3sec, the draggy will display true 0-60 so in reality you basically matched Motortrend identically

3.58s, to throw a number in the race :) My S3 started stock around the same time, mapped did 4.2, at stage 2 on old tyres it's best is 3.56s on crappy UK road. Other owner with same power and better tyre can achieve 3.4s.

Gti 2 sec 🤣🤣🤣rofl , the gti to do 2 sec 0-100 needs to be gutted and a minimum of 6-700 hp and it still will spin . The s4 b9 can not do 2 sec , engine will blow before that ;) wrong cars for 0-100kph

I have a 2018 s5 and tuned with unitronic i also have a catless dp a fmic and an intake I went 3.4 0-60
Are you getting any wheel spin and TCS errors? I just went with EPL for the tune, but I'm reading about TCS errors when hammering it and getting spin.
As of being stock right now I’m not having wheel spin or errors
where did you get that grill from?
i was able to do 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. you gotta hold the break and accelerate until your boost goes up to 3/4th, then release the break
this. seen a lot of guys barely letting the boost build up at all and pulling off the brake, I've ran 4.2 plenty of times because the boost bar was nearly 100% full, DA matters also
do you have the sport resonator exhaust? I'm looking at one fully optioned, and when looking at the sticker I see it has that sport resonator, when I drove it it popped on the downshifts, curious if you have it because it sounds really quiet outside.. now I'm wondering if that's just added sound inside the car.

@@Hunterdietzman haven’t been an a APR tuned S4 yet but I’m sure it’s a fine tune. The Unitronic tune I can tell you makes the car an absolute monster however
About to buy a B9 S4... sort of interested in C43 Amg as well and S5 sport back... did you consider these as well?
The S4 is slightly smaller and lighter. For me it just felt like a more nimble and sporty car compared to the S5 sport back. I also like the S4 looks and heritage of being an S4

How do you activate launch control. Or does it actually have a launch control procedure?
auto stop off, dynamic mode and traction control on sport or off, then brake boost it and it will hold at higher rpm

3.85, I think if you built boost for another 1-2s launching it you could’ve gotten into the low 4s stock, I’ve run a 4.18 in 40 degree weather with a 1/2 tank of gas

I was hesitant at first bc the whole launch control system is weird to me (putting all that stress on the drivetrain) but the car will shut the launch down if you hold the brake for too long. That extra couple seconds to build boost can make the launch a lot harder lol
Heads up your not using launch control correct it took me a bit on my b9 s5 and when you do it correct the car will not fart on shifts. When launching hold it for 3 4 seconds and let the car build boost then launch

Phillip kaess look up his brutal rs4 launch its brutal as hell 1000 hp. I prefer a rs5 or rs4 they all can be made fast its how much money do you have.

I still wish they kept the gorgeous two tone seats and supercharger from the b8.5 generation. The quilted stitching and front of the car look gorgeous though. I’m guessing it could run a 3.8 under good conditions with the new flash and gas, a 4.1 under average/less than favorable conditions

My 2019 S4 stock reaches 0-60 in 4.7
But if you use paddle shifters it gets there in 4.6
My stock scat gets 3.5 lol

Farouk Qaddoumi the S4 has the exact same interior compared to the RS5, other than some alcantara on the steering wheel and the gear selector. S4 gets the same quilted sport seats and carbon fiber trim as the RS4 (which are options of course). Also, the RS4 for the price is just a bit slow and boring. I feel like for RS4 pricing, the car is too dull. On the other hand, for S4 pricing it is much better bang for your buck even though it still is not the fastest. Exhaust on the RS4 sounds almost identical to the exhaust on the S4 as well. Overall, they are super similar cars, and the RS4 isn’t worth it unless you want the Avant look, a second turbo, and all the cool RS goodies like the carbon exterior and dual oval exhaust.

I have the same car it doesn’t build boost that fast. You weren’t launching at full boost we’re you. Because it should look a lot more violent when you let off the break also. Im bone stock also
how did you get a Launch control the car does not come stock with it?
Technically there is no “programmed launch control” from factory but there is still a launch capability when in sport mode and dynamic with traction control off

@@fantomg100 absolutely loved the golf r. However the B9 S4 is a much better overall in terms of luxury and performance. If you can shoot for a B9 S4 👍
