That is actually VERY FALSE! Look either educate yourself so you can stop spreading misinformation and lies.... or simply put.... shut the $%^& up!
I agree... I am almost 70 and I have heard the term Hoodoo, since I was a boy and that is how it has generally been understood..... a type of Bible magic that uses the Psalms and prayers, blended with other things, such as candles and household items.... and done at certain times of the day and month.. sometimes even using the Saints (practiced by anyone of any colour; Black or White or other). It is somewhat similar to Braucherei.... maybe even some would interchange the words.
Sorry dont really buy this.
First voodoo or hoodoo just sounds to much the same to identify as 2 different entities.
But I can imagine people want a separation from Hollywood
Second voodoo is religion based.
There are many more derivatives from African Youroba religion mixed with Christianity like cadomble in Brasil or Vodu in cuba

Sorry my dude... there is much difference between voodoo and hoodoo.... maybe you should sit down with people who practice both and let them explain the difference instead of going off of sub par knowledge

It should be expected that a religion from Africa brought to several countries would have many incarnations.
Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism & Islam have many variations in belief too.
That's fine... practice what you wish. Just be knowledgeable able what you practice or speak on instead of spreading faulty information

I agree I do not know any hoodoo's. But I know cadomble and voodoo.
And they are in essence the same.
I also know that hoodoo originated from people more inland of africa.but as far as I know they still follow the same deities.
So please explain. Always ready to change my opinion.

We all know that's a lie. No satanic character like Jesus can ever be over the power the most high gave africans. If Jesus was powerful how did the Romans aka Europeans kill him.
