We are glad you found this video useful 🥰🤗He is my student from 2023, so he was referring to my course, WU does NOT provide courses for entrance exam preparation
Hello, WU does NOT publish previous exam papers. To help the applicants out and give them a good understanding of what to expect I made an exam simulation based on feedback from my students who took the entrance exam Website: www.bbe-simulation.com/
Hi,my application got rejected because I supposedly did not comply with the rules, is there a way to revoke their choice by proving otherwise or is it a dead end?
That's not very promising haha, considering how easy this year's exam was, I'm sure that I've aced it .Unfortunately, things are the way they are. Even though I was following your tips, I've failed to manage the technical part(
@@L0mpy a good way to determine whether you would get in or not if the tech difficulty didnt happen: If you still have the rank showing in the online registration tool and it is below 240, you would not have gotten in But if there is no rank and it just says that you have been excluded, you very likely would have gotten in Because two people had the same exact tech problem and one of them sees the place as 400th smth, and the other sees the excluded sentence, so I am assuming if a person would not have gotten in anyway they dont have to check the tech requirements... You will be able to see how you performed on the exam in a few weeks time and you will have a 24 or 48 hour window for that (given that they also give this opportunity like they did in the previous years)
Hey Maria! I wanted to ask for your advice on studying the book. Do you think reading it a couple of times is enough, or do you have a better method to recommend? Also, I got a 2+ on my math matura exam. Do you think that will be sufficient for the math part of the entrance exam, or should I study more math? Thank you so much for your videos-they really help a lot!
Just reading would not be as efficient as understanding everything that is mentioned there, so I advise you to work through the examples mentioned in the book and try to get what is happening and why it is happening The entrance exam tasks are indeed based on the theory needed for the Austrian matura (part 1) tasks but keep in mind that they are longer&harder to solve compared to 1 matura task To see what I mean please see: To check out more examples you can visit the "COURSE SAMPLE" page (www.bbe-exam.com/sample) and stalk my Instagram account hahaha (I have posted some examples in the highlight "courseimprovements" and in the reel "Matura-based tasks vs Harder, exam-format tasks". Hello. I already watched the rest of your videos on the topic, and they are all great. But I think I got too much information for the most stressful for me part - the math one. Do you think it's a good idea to look all the areas of the math exam and study the basics of them all? Also, I didn't understand if the English and German examples for math that WU have linked are harder or easier than the exam? Thank you so much in advance for the help, you are amazing
Hello, I am glad you found the videos useful! Actually yesterday and today I have been posting stories about how to prepare for the maths part by yourself (as in if you are not taking part in my preparation course), so you can check them out on my Instagram (@maria.teachie). And yes, ofc it is a good idea to study all the topics listed on WU's website because they will be asked during the entrance exam, you can also pick your favourite topics and start with those on the exam day, if you see that one topic is just making your life miserable and you can spend the time suffering with it to learn 2 more topics, do that, since it is (as a rule of thumb) one question per topic, skipping one topic and guessing it, while excelling at others is a good point maximization strategy at this point when not much time is left until the entrance exam The maths matura papers you see on WU's website are from past high school leaving math exams in Austria, and they are easier to solve compared to the entrance exam tasks

@@AqeelHayat-f8n Hello! Thank you for your question, so, the test is online in general, meaning everyone, no matter where they are from, takes it from their laptop Regarding the documents, I assume yes, most diplomas are accepted without a problem for WU BBE admission, but I cannot say for sure
@@mariakremneva1664 thanks for the reply. If a student has A level with Mathematics, Economics, and Computer science, is he eligible to apply for the bachelor degree of business and economics?
Is the entrance exam similar to the OSA? If I am finished with the economics part and go on with the english part, will I later be able to move back to economics?
Soooo, yes and no, from what I have heard about the maths part it can somehow be comparable to it, and more or less of the same difficulty for some of the topics. For economics, they have included questions about topics that are not mentioned in the book but I guess they assume they are common sense (e.g., statements about the Federal Reserve that are not mentioned in the book), those types of questions are out of the scope of the book's content should not appear and you can expect slightly harder question there (e.g., some will require calculations or recalling details from the book). It sounds like English is more or less the same in terms of difficulty based on 2024 applicants' feedback. And yes, you can "jump" around parts&questions on the entrance exam
It is a good basis to start with because the exam will be based on the theory you would need to learn for the matura (apart from some topics that arent mentioned on WU's website), but keep in mind that the exam tasks will be longer&harder
