    thank you so much! I am sorry, I have some q-s: what about student life, events at WISO and BBE? What about international surroundings? Is it possible to get this experience at WISO?

      You are very welcome! The major difference between WISO and BBE regarding making friends as an international student is the fact that BBE has around 240 students in each cohort and WISO has around 2703 students in each cohort, so community-wise, it is easier to get to know people in BBE and form "closer" bonds with them, as there will be many international students just like you (WISO also has international students but the majority of people are German-speakers and some of them already have friends from high school in Austria for example, so it might be harder to get into "their circle", as far as I have heard). But events-wise it is up to you how active you want to be! The students union and other organizations organize plenty of events for you to attend and meet your fellow colleagues (e.g., you can check out the Instagram page oeh_wu to see what I mean)

    Heyyy this video was super useful! Wanted to ask you one question: is it true that German-taught specializations are available only to WISO students? I just wonder whether or not I can do a Business Information System specialization (which is in German if I am not mistaken) as a BBE student. And If I can not, what are some alternatives? Thank you!

      Hello, thank you! I am not sure that that is the case because in the BBE English-taught specializations there were plenty of people from WiSo, so I would assume this interchanging possibility would work both ways (?)

      @@mariakremneva1664 I just visited the WU info session yesterday via Zoom and I was told, that it’s not interchangeable that’s why I’m trying to find my way around it and plan my studies in advance to meet all of my goals. Thank you a lot anyway!

    Hello, do you have to have a camera during the WISo exam and do you also sell some materials for WiSo ?

    Hey, did they change WiSo exam to the multiple choice one? That’s what I see on their website now

      Heya, yes, hence the bold letters saying THINGS HAVE CHANGED IN 2024😂😅
      But since the competition last year was less than 2 people per spot for WiSO (4500 applicants for 2703 spots) I am assuming the exam should not be too difficult and just showing up and giving it your best (ofc with some preparation) should be enough to get accepted
      Also, when I talked with one of my master's colleagues who took the WiSo entrance exam back in 2019 when it was offline and somewhat resembled the new 2024 "standard" he told me that it was easy peasy lemom squeezy
      So ofc you should prepare for it but do not overstress it, best of luck with it!😊

      @@mariakremneva1664 thank you very much for that answer. I have one last question: do I need to submit A2 certificate before the exam, or all the document should come after it?

    • @mariakremneva1664
      @mariakremneva1664  6 месяцев назад

      @@krayniy4931 As far as I know, you only need it during the admission period (in case of acceptance) to then get redirected to preparatory language courses to get it to a C1 level. But I am not an expert here, you can text instagram.com/anastasiia.berchuk/ because she went through that process herself and I am also publishing a video with her about VWU soon!
