I think that the prices are quite decent according to your description. Regarding the accommodation, I think is a personal choice to rent at this price. I'm coming to Vienna in 2 months :) Thanks for the video
260 euro/month for food/groceries was of course BEFORE the pandemic and even then it's not very much. I would say it's below average, if you want to buy organic/bio it gets much more. true, our transportation system (Wiener Linien) is pretty great and very cheap compared to other large cities! if only the living would be more affordable....
Thanks so much, Timo, for direct honest info. My daughter is awaiting word from the Biology graduate school on her acceptance (2024). Would you say it's better to live near your school department building or does it matter? She doesn't mind a room mate but doesn't want multiple room mates. We've not had good experiences in the United States with school sponsored dormitories. Thanks for all you great info. (Jeffrey-USA)
Hi Jeffrey, which university will she attend? The public transportation in Vienna is very good, so no need to live right next to campus. If she’s fine commuting 15-20min every day I would say it’s worth looking also for areas where she potentially could afford a single apartment or shared with only 1 roommate. Cheers, Timo
@@TimoNikolai Wow. Thanks for the reply. I believe my daughter ( a graduate school cell biology student) will be mostly in the Biology building Djerassi-Platz 1 (formerly Schlachthausgasse 43) in Vienna's 3rd district.). I am not sure if that is the only building she will be in, but that is where I think she will be. She has been to Vienna before and is fine with commuting or using public transportation. She's pretty independent and not afraid to try new things. Thanks for your help. It means alot to her.
Hello, my name is Sarad and I am from Nepal. I completed my bachelor of social work (3 years degree) in 2019 with 56% in aggregate from Tribhuvan University, Nepal and I scored 68 overall not less than 66 in PTE. And I have been working in one of the NGOs for almost 2 years. I wanted to do my further education from Austria. Am I eligible to study master with a 3 Years bachelor degree? I am mainly focusing on Austria right now. I hope you will guide me in a certain way.. will be waiting for your reply. Thank you!!

willhaben.at , Airbnb , wg-gesucht.de
Could you please tell me more about accommodation? Maybe some information on how to book an appointment before arriving in Vienna?
Also, are they furnished?
thanks buddy
Isn't €260 a month for food a bit too much? I thought it was around €150.
If you cook your own food you can manage easily below 130
Yeah, that’s if you wanna ball out. It’s easily 140€ on food a month. If you wanna eat out a lot then, you know, you pay for that.
You can definitely make it with 150€, but if you eat a lot (like me) it's definitely around 10-15€ per day.
It depends bro!
Here in the states, healthy eating is typically 100-200 dollars per trip to the grocer; something like 3-4 big trips a month
Is arts subject taught here?
Like language, economics, geography and etc.
Danke. As a good business student. What is good investments? Thanks 👍
