Have to say I kind of miss his style of rhyming from Black On Both Sides/Black Star, but an artist moves forward.
I'm looking forward to the new material!
if you guys haven't heard, mos def is getting back to his old stuff on his next album. he's performed some of his upcoming music at his concerts and it is going to be classic. NO JOKE. its raw.
You wasn’t lying my brother

Mos is So sick but his nasally voice makes some of his raps unclear,same for Common who I love too.
MOS is just too fresh..man just too fresh

The biggest sign of insecurity is that of somebody who flaunts his or her security.
I've already wasted enough of my time writing this sentence for you. Goodbye now.
Good explanation and great song by the way.
Well, Jesus the Messiah and God in the flesh...
Well, He is very popular...
could not agree more. . . the blackstar project was profound.
you NEED black on both sides and the blackstar album.
you have got to be kidding.....right
ill wordplay.
lmao
If you appreciate the artistry of this song, you should also check out a song called Story no one told by Shad K. He is a local artist from my town in canada but he will blow up soon hopefully. it is one the most meaningful and beautiful songs ive ever heard, there is a good live version on youtube. let me know what you think, if you don't mind.
what you mean
Lol
ha, mos is funny...
@throbule
The latter part of my question was rhetorical; so was his entire question. I guess you aren't able to discern that.
Ironic how you accuse him of not being intelligent enough.
@throbule
He has a legitimate question. Are you avoiding question because you can't answer it or because it's unanswerable?
bummer he can't perform at a concert.
Yeah he can 12 years laters he still gots it bud
he is responisible for the greatest verse in music, poetry and general literature: Thieves In The Night. That singlehandedly makes him one of or the most prominent artist of our time.
smh at 'good tunes'.
No lies detected
so so soooooo sooooooooooo dope!
nice!!!!!
