This is perhaps also thé very best version of this sing, ever performed? As if this song and its incredible guitar-riffs arent legendary enough already, this version just chills you to the bone!
Look at how in-sane the crowd goes when Knopfler plays that intro, and how he plays the crowd into extasy!
Talent is one thing, skill is another, making a song like this is on a whole different level but performing such a song, on such a stage, like THAT....
Very few artists are THAT incredibly good!
1992; 32 years ago... i still havent seen that much in live-performances that can match or top this.
No lip-synchin, no digitally perfected sounds, no over-done stage-actors in fancy/weird suits...

I think this is thé best version of the song, especially because its a líve performance ofcourse, but the insane crowdreaction when he plays the riff first, and the amazing solos..

One of the best shows of my life. I recorded this show in my VHS and I watched this video during many years. It's a pleasure to see this video again.
As much as I enjoy the album version, the live versions just can't be beat. Great solos and breakdowns.
I find this one to be thé best version of it tbf. That in-sanely loud crowd, and these solo's. This isnt just music anymore, this is art!

Wish they would bring the cartoon video from the 80's. CRTC banned Mark 's 1 Hour marathon in Quebec because of someone complained about the word that was used in it. " ROCK ON DIRE STRITS, ROCK ON MARK."

Relax, professor. Sting co-wrote the song with Knopfler and also sang the falsetto backing vocals on the studio recording. So there is absolutely nothing wrong with me praising Sting's while listening to this song.
