Strumming patterns are always difficult for me because I am so unbelievably uncoordinated! The playthrough really got me at first but I eventually got it. I appreciate your teaching style so much! You are literally the only one that I can actually learn from. Thank you so very much for these videos!!!
So glad you eventually nailed the play along!! 💪🎉🎸🎶 Playing guitar definitely takes some amount of coordination, but if you can develop that muscle memory on your chord hand, then you'll be able to concentrate on the strumming a lot more which is super helpful. 🤗 Thanks for watching my series and supporting my channel! 🦋💕
Been working on this video for 2 weeks I finally got it and I'm really proud 😊 it shows that practice makes perfect! Now on to 16 note strumming ,accents and palm muting. I'm having a hard time with the next one. But for those out there don't give up! I was having a hard time with this video 2 weeks ago and now I can play it through smoothly😆

I'm finally playing at 29 and it's took about a month to learn all the pay through at the end. That seems quick, so i much be a natural! Bar chords and palm muting i seem to be having trouble with. But practice makes perfect.

I imagine that the transitions must just be for general practice, but it is at least a little frustrating that you show the finger positions for the transition notes, and then in the play along you use notes like em7 and a7sus4 which weren't shown in the transition notes so I have to pause the video to look them up again. It may just be an issue of me trying to go through too many of these videos without enough time to study and practice in between each one, but I would love a little more clarity. before the play along sections. Overall a great beginner course though. I will likely purchase any of your later courses that you might charge for at this point.

Great video! One question though. In the first song of the play through, you say to use Em7 and Dsus4 but you appear to be using Em and D. Are those two chords interchangeable?
For all intents and purposes, yes you could replace Em7 and Dsus4 with your regular Em and D chords. They'll have a slight difference in sound but will overall still work with whatever song(s) you might be playing. 👍 (It might be hard to see, but I am playing the Em7 and Dsus4 variations in the play-along though 😉)

hey! Ellen I really like all the episodes you made for us and I hope you grow more....I am having problem in strumming in 151 bpm its so fast for me so what should I do I can switch chords faster than I should...pls help PLEASE REPLY TO MY COMMENT
Make sure to use a metronome for practicing your chord transitions, and don't go any faster than you're able to cleanly transition. 💪 151 is super fast and will take a lot of practice to get chords down at that speed so just start slowly and work your way up. You can do it! 🎸

hey! Ellen I really like all the episodes you made for us and I hope you grow more....I am having problem in strumming in 151 bpm its so fast for me so what should I do I can switch chords faster than I should...pls help

Make sure to use a metronome for practicing your chord transitions, and don't go any faster than you're able to cleanly transition. 💪 151 is super fast and will take a lot of practice to get chords down at that speed so just start slowly and work your way up. You can do it! 🎸
