    Strumming patterns are always difficult for me because I am so unbelievably uncoordinated! The playthrough really got me at first but I eventually got it. I appreciate your teaching style so much! You are literally the only one that I can actually learn from. Thank you so very much for these videos!!!

      So glad you eventually nailed the play along!! 💪🎉🎸🎶 Playing guitar definitely takes some amount of coordination, but if you can develop that muscle memory on your chord hand, then you'll be able to concentrate on the strumming a lot more which is super helpful. 🤗 Thanks for watching my series and supporting my channel! 🦋💕

    Been working on this video for 2 weeks I finally got it and I'm really proud 😊 it shows that practice makes perfect! Now on to 16 note strumming ,accents and palm muting. I'm having a hard time with the next one. But for those out there don't give up! I was having a hard time with this video 2 weeks ago and now I can play it through smoothly😆

      Thank you so much for the sweet compliment! 💕 I'm really glad you like my video format and teaching style! 🤗 When I strum using my fingers, I typically just use my thumb for both. 👍 Pad of thumb for down strums and nail side for up strums. But I've also seen lots of people use thumb for down and pointer finger for up, so I would suggest playing around with that and going with whichever method feels most comfortable to you. 🦋 Thanks for watching!!

    I imagine that the transitions must just be for general practice, but it is at least a little frustrating that you show the finger positions for the transition notes, and then in the play along you use notes like em7 and a7sus4 which weren't shown in the transition notes so I have to pause the video to look them up again. It may just be an issue of me trying to go through too many of these videos without enough time to study and practice in between each one, but I would love a little more clarity. before the play along sections. Overall a great beginner course though. I will likely purchase any of your later courses that you might charge for at this point.

    • @for3v3rfaithful
      @for3v3rfaithful  6 месяцев назад

      For all intents and purposes, yes you could replace Em7 and Dsus4 with your regular Em and D chords. They'll have a slight difference in sound but will overall still work with whatever song(s) you might be playing. 👍 (It might be hard to see, but I am playing the Em7 and Dsus4 variations in the play-along though 😉)

      Unfortunately, I'm still working on those. 🙈 Planning out, filming, editing and promoting these courses takes a lot of time and brain energy, but I plan to prioritize it in 2023! 🙌 Thank you so much for learning with me and my beginner series, and I hope in the meantime you'll check out some of the hundreds of song tutorials I have on my channel! 🥰

      Make sure to use a metronome for practicing your chord transitions, and don't go any faster than you're able to cleanly transition. 💪 151 is super fast and will take a lot of practice to get chords down at that speed so just start slowly and work your way up. You can do it! 🎸

    I came back sensei, after 1.5 months, I'm here to finish what I have started,
    you may say: "Cookie instead of running away you're coming right to me?! "
    And I would reply to you: "I can't play EPICO songs without getting closer! "
    I know your weakness! And it is my determination and JoJo references that will help me to defeat you for3v3rfaithful!

      That means I'm finally challenging you! 😉 But we definitely stepped it up a notch in this episode, so just make sure to practice slowly on your own before doing the play along with me at the end and soon enough, you'll be jamming with ease! 🎸 You've got this!! 💪
