This album is simply wonderful! It's so alive and sincere. I want to live in Monumental. I just can't believe someone would write anything like "only here because of another musician" under such music.
I want to point this out. Because I cannot express how much I love good call backs. Check out 25:22. And compare it to the refrain from "Fading Light". Do you hear it? It gives me goosebumps.

Avi is BIG into callbacks. One of his more recent songs "Cards you hold" is a major throwback in several ways to "open your eyes"
Can I just say, Angel of the Dark gets significantly better with Painted Ashes leading into it.
