The trio of floating enemy vehicles (shaped like arches) always reminded me of the helmet that Man-At-Arms wore in the He-Man universe. I played this game quite a lot . . .
The name Tron put me off because there were two arcade games, one being "Discs of Tron" (which I didn't play or see in the arcade) and the other "Tron" with 4 stages including brick-shooting, maze combat, enter the teleport and Surround on light cycles. That's the one I wanted to play.
I always enjoyed this game in short bursts. You had to hit the bits just right to grab them, but it was always consistent. I also got pretty good at jumping over the bugs and recognizers.
I have no issues collecting the bits as it simply involves jumping prior the bit at the right point.rather than while it's almost directly under you. This is just how it is and has nothing to do dodgy collision
For some reason I loved the humming sound of the tron screen
Played this game for hours as a kid
The color scheme for Tron is . . . perplexing. A solid blue would have been so much better.
Like a Teal :O
Neat glitch was that sometimes when u caught a bit on the bottom floor and you were in the middle, the flash of blue would carry u up for a second

Thanks. You do a great thing. I remain a new and loyal fan. Thanks.

Yeah, I wonder how much I would have played it if I got it either as a kid or an adult.
This game has very similar game mechanics to Jumpman and Jumpman Junior.

You can get used to it, but there were time it looked like I clearly touched one, but it didn't register.
oh wow!
The tanks always confused me....
0:16 Why the hell is Crom on the cover of the box? lol
I dont even know you anymore.
Hi! I'm NSG! I enjoy pizza, long walks on the beach and 2600 Basketball better than the Adventures of Tron!
Those Tron games are aweful
Tron Deadly Discs is a great game, one of my personal favorites.
