Yes, O personally wait for 26 january every year to know which tablue my state is presenting 😄.. I'm from karnataka and karnataka sent highest number of Tablues since it started.. Every year all states don't get chance because of time constrain but top performers will get chance every year...

21:22 Missed Eklavya completely while discussing. Theme was on Eklavya Model School, Eklavya was a Tribal Archer Prince, thats why Bow and Pen... Bow symbolizes Eklavya or Tribes and Pen symbolizes Education. And Moazzam, it doesn't depict Conflict between Bow and Pen... the concept is unifying Tribal Culture with Education.
Not just a tribal archer, but a prince, son of Nishad Raj, who assisted Jarasandha, and was killed by Krishna himself. This side of the story is sadly ignored.

Koli people Mumbai ke native log hai jab Mumbai 7 islands ke divided thi, baki sab community toh migrate hokee Mumbai aaye. Dadra & Nagar Haveli bhi Maharashtra Gujarat border pe situated hai, isliye unhone iss tableau ka use kiya hai

@@Tomar337 no, Jammu has border with Punjab that's why there's many similarities between dogras and Punjabis. Even dogri and Punjabi language are similar. You can search dogri folk dance, you'll find same costume like tableu and Punjabi folk gidda's costume is similar but many things are different as well
Actually there is a selection process for tableaux..who fulfills the criteria..those got selected for final presentation
The Dogri culture was showcased in the Jammu & Kashmir Tableau along with the Kashmiri culture :)

For me best tableaux (West Bengal) Bcz i am from here so i am bias ....apart from this my favourite tableaux is Maharashtra & Kerala .... This two states culture are one my favourite along with food 😉

In Jammu Kashmir's tableaux, they were wearing kashmir and Dogra dress. Our (Dogra) culture is very similar to Punjabi people 😄

I have been watching Parade since my childhood without a miss and by days, it has become much larger and more grandeur
Eklavya residential school only for schedule tribes students ke liye hai, dhanush tribes ka special arms hai and pen tribes ko unake culture and skills ke sath education dene ke liye hi ye school khola gaya hai. Pen ko education ke symbol ke rup me dikhaya gaya hai. UP ki jhanki me wo rishi koi aur nahi Ramayan ke rachayita maharshi Valmiki ji ka hai.

Dance, Music Self defence, Education, Language, Culture, Nature, Technology etc. Har cheej ko dikhaya hai
It's though to showcase each state due to time restraint.... That's why quota is fixed...Some states showcase their Tableau in this year and next year other states will showcase their Tableau...and this rotation will continue...

In uttarpradesh's tableau..it consist of ram darbaar which have ramji sitaji ,hanuman ji ,laxman ji (not luv and Kush) and bharat ji (younger brother of ramji n elder to laxman ) in some ram darbar they have shatrughan too, (youngest brother) and vibhishan (ravan's brother)

21:52 its about iklavya in Mahabharata the tableau is for students and education, iklavya was the best student who learnt the art of archery better than arjun from afar by just seeing the guru teaching arjun, guru dronacharya even denied him to look from afar then he made a statue of guru and learnt on his own in the presence of the statue guru. That's why the bow and a pen it transcends the iklavya story of archery to today's students with bow and pen.

Har saal. Sare state ki nhi hoti hai...kuch state ko. hi select kiya jata hai is bar punjab and rajasthan select nhi kiye gye hai aur bhi 10-15 state nhi hai MP, Bihar, Himachal, Telangana, Goa etc..

Every year one theme is decided and conveyed to states. All the states submit their proposals for tableux to Ministry of Culture. Ministry then decides which state will show their tableaux on Republic Day. Around 20 states are selected in total.
This year punjab jhanki was not selected ,out of 28 States and eight union territories ,only 17 state with union territoriy jhankis was selected and 6 jhankis was of ministries ,total 23 jhankis was there.

All states are not shown in jhanki every year. States and departments have to submit their theme and plot of Jhanki be end of November for next 26 jan... A committee is there at New Delhi which does the assessment of these jhankies and select best 20 of them... After they give "OK", the pertaining state and department start building their jhanki.
Vo baan ki jagah pen time ke according education ko signify kar rha tha. Eklavya, a tribal person, who became one of best archer during Mahabharata time, a kind of education of that time must be a role model for tribal society and everyone now towards gaining education

In J&K Tableou, Total area of 14000 Sq Km, Jammu is 26000 Sq Km. Kashmir speaks kashmiri and Jammu speaks Dogri. So people with pagadi are Dogra's of Jammu.
