Thank for such a clear video! I had ripped out the yoke of a top down raglan TWICE because my purled increases looked awful. The pattern uses short rows to raise the back of the neck so you’re knitting back and forth, and I just didn’t understand the purled increases. Your explanation of the generations was perfect and now I’m back on track. Thank you!

How do you knit right lifted increase purl-wise (RLiP) on the knit side? All the video on RUclips show how to the RLiP on the purl side, but my pattern says to do it on the knit side, and I’m lost 😢
my pattern calls for an RLIP but i’m starting from a knit stitch AND at the edge of my piece. could someone help me? what loop am i supposed to pick up for the lifted purl?
Your explanation is very clear, thank you for that, but I still find it difficult to understand how these increases will slant on the knit side... :) Will the Lifted Left Increase slant to the right on the knit side?
When an increase slants to the left on one side, when you turn the work over it will slant to the right and vice versa. You may want to check out this video on decrease slant and stitch charts, ruclips.net/video/_ehjG9orudk/видео.html. It's about decreases rather than increases, but I think the visual may help you see what's happening.
