    Thanks Suzanne, a clear and concise explanation for the reason for knitting the stitch of the LLI first. I get it now.

    These are my favorite increases. Almost always invisible. Easy to remember. And your video was very clear for anyone not familiar. You are the number 1 knitting instructor I send other knitters to. Concise and always correct.

    You're a lifesaver. I'm working a sweater with these increases and it's been doing my head in. You explained it so clearly. Thanks!

    This was a dejavu type experience. I just started a pattern that requires these increases yesterday and there is your video! Actually kind of creepy. 🤣🤣 I watched the pattern linked video, but yours made it so very clear. You actually explain not just what to do, but the reason why and how the stitch works, the little technical bit. The visual of the stitches shoulder, left and right was perfect.

    Hello. Could you advise me as to how to do slanted left and right lifted stitches in double knitting. Thank you.

    • @SuzanneBryan
      @SuzanneBryan  2 года назад

      Great suggestion! I will add this to my video todo list. Thank you. In the mean time, just make them as usual. But once made, you will need to redistribute the front and back fabric stitches so that you still have a/b a/b a/b sequence across your needle.

    Suzanne can rli and LLi be used when a pattern without a index says increase one? I really like the lifted increases, nice and neat. TIA

    Hi Suzanne! Just wanted to find out. I'm making a raglan cardigan using double knitting and the pattern calls for left lifted increase. Would I do a left lifted increase on the front side and a right lifted increase on the back side? Thank you for all your work

    • @SuzanneBryan
      @SuzanneBryan  2 года назад +2

      You would do a left lifted increase on both sides. think about it. Cross two of your fingers with the top finger going to the left. Now turn your hand over. See what you get?

    Can these increases be used in place or M1L and M1R ??

    • @SuzanneBryan
      @SuzanneBryan  5 лет назад

      Yes, but depends on the design you are working. In most cases they can be interchangeable.
