For those who don’t know the anesteshia (whatever her name is) invader will 100% drop a Somber Dragon smithing stone that will allow you to upgrade somber weapons that you have at +9 to +10 and there are only 8 per run so I’d fight her so you don’t miss out she’s pretty easy bc she’s pretty slow

it workeddd... dont jump from where the guy from the video. jump a little bit to the left of that. then try to jump as far away as possible and do a double jump with torrent to make sure you drop straight down to the snow and not to the cliff rocks

I literally killed mask man in my NG+ and didn’t realize wasted my time trying to do the quest and realized he was dead this whole time and found this then struggled with the invader because I didn’t finish the whole video came back to talk shit realizing he showed a cheese 😂

15. April '22 still works! Took me some tries but I managed to spawn there :) you have to make sure you land exactly on the ground and not get hit by the wall

This still works, just don't jump from the same point shown in the video, jump from a bit more to the left so you fall straight down and not on the rocks

I recommend you the frost/stomp thing. Makes it easier/faster to farm.
If you beat the last boss, you can farm even faster with his sword. Good to buff a bit before ng+ (which is very, very easy btw..but still fun. It’s a bit like payback time ha ha: you are the strong one).
Not working for me. Consecrated Snowfield shows, but doesn't give me the choice between stake of Marika or Grace. Invasion also doesn't work, there is a spectral wall blocking access to cliffs. Looks like it's been patched
@@Scoots_McGee Yes. I believe so too. I tried again in NG+ and indeed it doesn’t work.
So no choice, you have to beat that boss in the snow castle. Get your mimic tear summon buffed as high as possible and kill that idiot.
The invader near the teleporter is not that easy to beat. Had to do try again at least 3 or 4 times.

Many things have been patches actually recently so no choice..
But still, it’s worth it. Farming there is really a game changer.
Especially more so once you beat the game and get that wave gold attack that almost kills everyone in a couple of seconds. Enjoy the game.

After 10 tries ,I got it to work...the trick is that second jump while you are falling...wait a bit to do the second jump so it pushes you further.Good trick man,thanks.

This still works! As of Dec 19 2023! My camera was always zoomed out (I did it twice because I died to the wolf the first time) but all you need to do to fix that is save and quit the game. Have fun, it may take a few tries!

The snowfield Marika glitch still works boys just get as far on the edge of the mountain as possible and double jump away from landing on the cliff

New update patched this 😢. You no longer fall all the way down, your health instantly drains when you jump off the cliff, and your body hits an invisible ceiling that keeps you from falling down to the statue

These videos aren’t showing you how to get anywhere…I don’t want to get to a dead end cliff I want to get to the top where Mogh is
KIll the annoying ass commandant sitting on top of his stupid castle, get the medaillon, get down there through the elevator you took to reach the mountains, go to the left side border of the zone you just unlocked, kill the invader that's next to a really big tree (there are multiples invaders in the area but there is only one that opens the gateway once defeated) (his name should be something with "noble" in it), find the gateway following the border of the map, get to the mogh's area, and from there you can just discover the map, he's not that hard to find once you get through the gateway if you still cant find him, my tip is to go up.

Just tried it, and while he isn't wrong, they did get rid of the Marika option, I've done the jump Mutiple times now that tell me I've discovered the snowfield, BUT it doesn't give me an option to use Marika to spawn me down there. So, it was a nice exploit while it lasted but it no longer works, thanks for the time of making the video, and to the people reading.
April 17 3:17 PM- I can confirm it still works, you slide down the edge a little and then jump and wait a little then hit the second jump.
Different skip. That skip is patched. Head to castle sol main and head left and follow the castle to the graveyard. At the graveyard, there's a rocky cliff 1 bar right of North on your compass. That's where you want to jump off. When you get the GTA view (top down) double jump and start swinging. You'll fall for about 90 seconds. KEEP ATTACKING!!! If Niall is still alive, this kills him. Once he dies, port back to the main gate and continue to the medallion half. Also, kill the tarnished eater!!! She drops an ancient dragon somber. She's squishy. Just stab her a few times. That'll teach her.

@@froppo_ I used a +21 Nagakiba and a +10 Rivers of Blood to fight the tarnished-eater. Just kite her a bit and move in for the kill. She'll dodge arrows, so shooting her is out. I think she has something like 2500hp. She doesn't take long to kill. Next to no resistances. Bait the attack where she holds the weapon to her chest and slams it down. That gives you 2 hits on her. If you use colossal weapons, just hit her. It'll stagger her every hit. Follow up until you have 1 dodge of stamina left then dodge out and kite until your stamina refills. You got this. Use range to your advantage. If you have a long reach melee or spell, you're in good shape. Hell, Comet Azul should 1-shot her if you have it. It should also 1-shot the other invader if you don't want to base jump to your and his death. Once you get the portal active, there's nothing dangerous until after you get to the grace. This is also where the best rune farm in the game is. The bird is on the next lower land mass across the way. You can shoot it from there with any bow and it'll charge off the side to its death. Aim at the tree until the lower right line from the reticule is on the right most lower branch. Loose the arrow and it will hit. Every. Single. Time. 11,038 runes per. The Albunaurics are worth 2,044 each. There's 16 of them passed the grace to the left. 4 will attack you first. The other 12 just sit there.
Edit: If you're really struggling, the Sword of Night and Flame should help. It has a built in Comet Azul. 24 faith and intelligence to use it though. It is an investment. If you've done Nokrom, you should have a few larval tears to respec. Hope that helps. I'd offer to kill her for you, but, I refuse to pay for Xbox Live.

I found a fix for the patch, all you have to do is spawn at (Snow Valley Ruins Outlook) pass the skeleton and jump at the farthest point at the end of the cliff it'll let you spawn at the Maricka

Okay it's April 13th 2022 and I'll let with this. Make sure you jump exactly at that point there is a Stake of Marika at the bottom so if you manage to get your horse out far enough then you will reach it and the game will give you the option to respawn there. Make sure you get at least 1 site of grace when you get there because you will have to travel all the way back and do the jump again if you die.

This is how you can get to Mohgwyn Palace, and do the rune farm without Varre's questline!
If you're having problems doing the glitch to skip Commander Niall and get to the portal faster. Be sure to jump far away from the cliff, and avoid landing on the rocks. Try to fall all the way down to the bottom without touching the cliff. Hope this helps if you're having troubles with doing the glitch. Keep in mind this glitch isn't necessary to get to the Consecrated Snowfield and access the portal that takes you to Mohgwyn Palace. This is just a shortcut to get to the portal that teleports you to Mohgwyn.

I show more of a detailed guide on how to do the glitch properly in my Latenna questline video. Feel free to check it out on my channel if you're still having trouble skipping over to the area.

Pretty crazy how few runes even endgame enemies and bosses give, did a really hard haligtree area boss the other day and got a measly 100k ish
Yeah once you reach the 100k+ per level it gets hard to lvl up without farms and hero rune scavenging
Yup I think you’re supposed to finish the game at around lvl 150
you dont have to die to get rid of the invaded, just run far enough away from him so he returns to his world and the portal works

You should kill him because a gives a somber smithing stone that is part of a group of smithing stones that only exist in 8 per world(sorry about my English it is not my first language)
As of the latest update, this glitch no longer works
Don't worry niall is pretty easy to beat if you know the trick, just head to the right after entering the arena to make sure the faster knight tries to 1v1 you, cha him with a bewitching branch (single use item), wait for the shield knight to come at you and charm him too, now stand back and spam rotten breath until niall kills his knights (doesn't take a lot), then summon your mimic tear before he finishes changing phase and attacking you (make sure to use double rapiers with blood affinity as he's weak to bleed and piercing). After getting him low but never killing him for a while i used this trick and did it first try

Thanks man I needed this I was low on bewitching branches and the recipe is in the palace but I needed to beat Niall to get to the con field catch 22 situation and all because for some reason I can’t play online on ps4 so I couldn’t do varres quest line and go to palace early like you should

Noppers, it was probably patched. Jumping off the cliff shows you a new location name but doesn't respawn you in a new location

April 18th - still works. Trying to jump afar as much as possible and landing dying as close to the ground helps.
I tried doing the glitch but I think they fixed it in patch 1.06

@@zedyakhlef6426 You have to get both halves of the haligtree secret medallion. Once you have that you go to the grand lift of rold and you’ll have the option to take the secret path.
Just so yall dont waste your time (just like old 2 years videos which are no longer valid). This has been PATCHED now as of May 2024. Ya can jump off the snowfield 100 times and you don't get the spawn in concenrated snow fields. The death just takes ya back to the prev grace point. Right way to unlock this area is 2 ways (Varres quest OR go thru the boss fight in this area to unlock that section).

Great find! still working for me, although it might not really be a glitch per se as there were multiple invaders here so a stake of Marika was put there they might patch it by adding a layer of terrain that you die and your body won't reach the stake
If they do that they better put a golden "no attack sign" whenever ur near varre, like the one you have in round table. Or else im refunding this game. Like wtf how u gonna let me kill an important af npc and dont give me another option to move further in the game?

@@brodenwilliams5310 you have to jump from the right side on the snowy ground. Make sure ur character doesnt hit the mountain while falling down. Try to jump as far away as possible from the mountain.
It took me 20 tries once. But now i know why it took so long.

You can actually cheese commander Niall anyways by shooting through a small hole in a wall until you kill him without even activating the fight. I like playing legit so I haven't used any cheeses or glitches but I know it still works
Tyrannicon has a Niall cheese video. for me, he activated and I saw the boss bar then he walked toward the wall and I could easily get headshots
No, the stake glitch doesn’t work. But if you find the secret medallion, you can hoist it at the lift and travel to the snowfield and do this.

Don’t believe that jump into the Consecrated Snowfield works anymore, as of June 2024. I tried it 3 times at the exact spot you jumped off and it loaded me back at the Ancient Snow Valley Ruins each time. I’m not using any mods or hacks, just the regular base game.

For anyone who don't understand 🤓 you go to where volcano manor last quest is behind the hut and jump since there is a stake of marika you can spawn there so u can cheese it but u can get there even if u can't do this u need the secret medallion

as of 1.05, the glitch to teleport to the consecrated snowfield shown in this video is patched, but there is a new one right next to the lift. easy search up.

I farmed that place with the Ruins Greatsword and it destroys that group quick! Hit the giant chicken with an arrow first too. It's like 70k for the chicken and that first group down the 4 patrolling.
But sometimes it get 63k and sometimes 13k, any ide why?
@@michokuk1421 Sometimes, you will notice an enemy eyes are sparkling / glowing gold color. It's rare, but when that happens, they are worth 5X runes.

THE GUARANTEED WAY is to defeat Commander O’Niel at the top of the map you get the medallion and there you are

Go to the same spot as he went to and jump and yes you supposed to die so you can respawn next to the Marika’s mini statue and boom .. you made it but MAKE SURE YOU JUMP FROM THE SAME SPOT TO RESPAWN AT THE MARIKA’S LITTLE STATUE SO YOU CAN GO TO THE OTHER SIDE

Thanks, I almost lost hope cuz I thought the teleporter was gone after reading the comments, I guess it was just the skip area glitch that was patched. I'm already at ng+2 and I didnt want to reset again. I Just killed the boss to get the medallion and enter the area as normal, then got to mohgwyn palace.

it’s not patched on the new update you just have to complete a different jump off the cliff. my way was off of the spirit spring and parkour out of the hole you land in.

I think that with that latest update, developers made this bird a bit more clever as it is now stopping right at the edge more often!!!..before the update, every single time the bird used to jump not matter what, and I passed from level 60 to 170 level in a couple of days!!..now it is a headache!!

For some reason it says snowfield and then goes back to giants last second maybe it’s patched
it might have been bc instead of taking damage when you touch the ground like he did, getting near the stake of marika, you die midair nowhere near the stake

The glitch on the cliff jump doesn’t work anymore Im angry asf
It does go to castle sol turn around from grace run up the cliff go right past boss go right to the little cliff and jump down to the left from the cliff try and slide down the mountain

Can confirm the castle sol one still works, did it myself
Watch him in his video as he comes to the edge,you have to walk slowly so you slide down the cliff a little bit then jump and then at the last second jump again,if your camera follows you down it isn't going to work,it took me 7 to 8 tries.

Jan 1, 2023, with patch 108, and this does not seem to be working anymore, every time I jump anywhere along that ridge I land on the mountains and die and will not respond in the consecrated snowfield, I guess I need to find a different way to that teleporter.
Glad to know that I can do this without multiplayer as I've pirated the game😀

I don't think it works anymore. I've been jumping far as I could and no Marika spawn option showed for me.
