I heard once you put this mod on it can improve the take off when you press the accelerator. Did you feel this?

I can’t say for sure if the car hooks up better from a dig, it has pretty wide sticky tires. What we did notice was a significant reduction in the banging from road impacts (Alabama Roads, lots of potholes and uneven pavement). I would think a stiffer unibody would allow the suspension to work better, traction in theory should improve based on that. The car does corner a little better based on a very subjective before and after feel. Basically made it feel more solid with improved ride and handling.

Very nice... how do you like them? I need to get some for my 88. My 89 has the old school Motorsport tubular connectors.

They worked out well, took some flex and flop out of the unibody and made the suspension a little more effective. Car takes the rough roads better and has a tad sharper handling. Welding them in might make them a little more effective.

Shouldn't the car be on all 4 wheels ? Thats what the directions say anyway .

It was resting on the axle tubes in the rear, so no part of unibody was resting on Jack stands. The rear springs were still supporting the vehicle, same as wheels on the ground.
