I was there that night as a Detective assigned to the NYPD Arson and Explosion Squad. This was one of my first investigations involving the death of a Fure Fighter. I am still haunted by the memory of that night.
Yes all buildings should have fire sprinklers including houses. How wonderful that you are actively getting the info out about sprinklers and fire prevention!!
