Something that I found is that manufacturers often use resistive spark wire to reduce electrical interference while the sparker is running. I replaced it with straight copper in a silicone sleeve, and it's been flawless for about seven years now.
Look at 26:50 I see the uninsulated flame sensor spade connector touching the black gas pipe. If its touching then the flame sense wouldn't let the main gas valve on, only the pilot because it doesn't see the pilot flame is light.
Our cook at work got her tank filled, new gas company, Beaudry with out the hassles and cheaper that previous. New Regulator. really happy for her. Michelle, she's the salt of the earth type! wow. Heat is survival here in December.
@@tudtud-ez7eu yeah. I oiled the fan last year, still slow. Need to get the heat out of those units. Maybe the powa company has some help. The issue is the milli amp fan seems to be 'petering' out.
Today I did the maintenance of flushing my water tank which went fine, and then testing the relief valve. After testing the relief valve it kept dripping! I was like "Crap on YT they say not to test it" (the manufacturer says to test it periodically). Then I pulled the lever open again, and this time I didn't just let the spring close it, I also pushed the lever closed. And it sealed tight again.
When I saw all the soot come out of those burners, all I could think of was when you were trying to save a gas boiler that was chooching the CO detector in the basement with a notable smell, and you took the burners out. After taking them out, soot just poured out of each one along with the chimney pipe, and you said, WOW, look at all the sh*t in there! Obviously, the boiler was a total loss, and the next day you installed a brand-new boiler for the damsel in distress. The old boiler caused your probe to peg and personal CO detector to peg. You had to use the air compressor and vacuum to try to clean it.
Have you run into any problems what does circulators with check valves built inside flow checks whatever you want to say made by takeout or any other manufacturer
Actually the pilot wasn't even lighting cuz it looks like it was just dirty Heads Up actually cuz it did light when you play with the red handle when you were shutting off the gas and you turned it back on then it actually lit so it's might even be that handle was shut off on the gas itself
Pilot is weak not enough flame rectification to prove the pilot is good now to energize the main burner / mv . Come on dude change the pilot burner assembly if not you will be back !
Lack of maintenance does it every time, nice job Steve.!!!

It was ironic cuz right when you just left or whatever you did with the red handle turned it on it pilot lit for a second just so you know

Good job Steve I had that same problem yesterday but I kept tinkering with it and finally got it solved you and Miss Molly take care
Steve only works in the sunshine mama, but he’s a real work man next level

That pile of rust that came out of the burner tubes😮. Thats why an annual service is still necessary even on gas boilers
Nice Fix Steve!
How do you increase or fix the fan blowing power on a Millie amp canister fan for a Stiebel Elton (1980's) off peak Brick heater?
Google or RUclips it

I got a small compressor for the situations and give it a how ya doing with the air gun
I wish he would carry a small Vac,, and buy a "floor lamp" .More light for him and us viewers..It would also free up Both hands to work....JMO...

Hello Steve!
Is it supposed to be Tako b&g or whoever makes these other manufacturers
I had a call the other day where the pilot tube was blocked up with rust and I had to clear it out for the pilot to light
Have you run into any problems what does circulators with check valves built inside flow checks whatever you want to say made by takeout or any other manufacturer
I hope you recover fully from your stroke
'Gunslinger for Hire"...
Howdy Steve and Miss Molly
Small little unit like my Weil-Mclain I have for 40 yrs now!
Those are the same blocks as Burnham, just from FwWebb pure pro and much cheapa

Take the pilot assembly apart and clean it correctly

Cant believe how much creosote came out of those burners.
It was rust, not creosote.
Hey Steve and Miss Molly! Workin’ again ya’ll. 👍👍
