Something we never really talk about is how powerful this venom really is. Man was able to live without a host and was about to become a pain to spiderman. Marvel has never made a venom that could live without his host and be able to perform high level tasks like this.
Does anyone else realize how actually powerful Tobey Maguire's spiderman really is? Fighting both sandman and venom at once let alone taking endless beatings from insane blows as well as being the strongest spiderman out of the 3 live-action spidermen and being able to never run out of web.
Tobey Maguire is the strongest Spiderman ever, fighting supervillains just on raw power and strength, all he has is two hands and two legs and he damn well know how to use it and then there is Tom Holland's Spiderman who is using all kind of high tech gadgets and suits, it's like they totally forget what made him Spiderman at first place. You just don't see hand to hand combat in MCU's Spiderman movies.

The symbolism in harries death is amazing. Green goblin died by his own glider, trying to harm and kill Peter. Harry died by his own glider trying to save and protect Peter. Polar opposites yet also the same.
And this third spiderman movie is so deep, have emotional scene and charachter, great chemistry peter to his harry, mj, aunt may and uncle ben. But why people so overhated? They are blind, empty hearth, didnt have soul, because 1 or 2 mistakes like horrible venom doesnt change how masterpiece this movie is. They look on one perspective, didnt look to the other.

One of the best things about Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy is the fact that Spider-Man (2002) felt so much closer to a 90s film with dated visuals and scenes that represent other 90s film but still has a few modern aspects with amazing CGI, costume designs, and is super faithful to the source material, and then, the sequels from 2004 and 2007 fit in with other modern superhero films from the 2000s and are much darker. It's almost like the Harry Potter franchise, but based on a Marvel comic book. I'm mostly (and quite possibly maybe even completely) a DC fan, but as far as Marvel goes, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy is the best of Marvel's work!
In retrospect Spider-Man 3 wasn't that bad. The plot was a bit convoluted, but compared to the later movies I think it's a good Spider-Man movie. This final fight scene is still way better than the ending fights of both Amazing Spider-Man films.

The reason the masks come off is that you can see the expression Peter has on his face at the climax. Mcu due to the advance technology can animate the max so they dont need that help. It would look really jarring if the mask reacted to his facial expressions if it was homemade
This scene puts Endgame’s final battle to shame. This movie is an underrated masterpiece. I wish they could’ve done Spider-Man 4. Maybe have Doctor Connors become the Lizard or something. I would’ve also liked their original plan with Black Cat, Vulture and Mysterio. If they ever made a Spider-Man 5 they could have the Lizard in it. Maybe they could’ve kind of built up to it more in Spider-Man 4.

Everything was almost to the point where almost everything the finalized but Raimi didn't feel like Spider-Man 4 would do better than Spider-Man 3 and he didn't like the script or anything. Gotta say, this match is one of the trickiest. The objectives are difficult as you have to save an NPC and defeat a tag team simultaneously. Was tough, ngl, but the reveal of our tag sure is epic

I always have a goosebumps when thats scene play, plus the music in the background. Damn i am 25 years old man, still always crying for trilogy spiderman tobey.
Instead we got the other Venom(Tom Hardy), who never interacted with Spider Man. He was evil but more anti heroic than this one, who was more evil and scarier.
It's kinda sad to know that she would've had a better role in this movie if it wasn't for someone meddling with Sam Reimi's script, she was originally going to convince Harry to help Peter save Gwen Stacy(Eddie would have kidnapped her, thinking Peter loved her)
Favorite movie of my 7 year old world. Now that I'm older, I can really tear apart how a whole crowd of people stood so close to two terribly dangerous villains and watched. Also, instead of swinging MJ to that crowd of presumably safe people or getting her out, he chose to put her back into the construction zone. Also, why at 8:24 did he not just use his webs right away. Jeez. But I still love this movie. Go Toby Maguire for best Spiderman!

What does bug me here, however, is that Peter could have web-pull that sharp stick all the time, and Harry wouldn't have had to die, yet he still let his friend get impaled like that. Not to mention Harry didn't really have to drop under the blades. Like he could have just bull-butted Venom. It is what it is though.
