@@BackCountryWrenching they honestly don't look that bad, I however am hardcore and use two wool blankets, a rubberized rain poncho and a foam pad and I live in the Boreal forest also.
I have one of those, it's pretty much an envelope with zippers. On its own not very practical, heavy and not very warm, but combined with a lighter bag it's great. The Yugo bag on the outside, since it's large and durable.
I have a lite weight goose down blanket that fits inside it perfectly, my goal was to make a simple bed roll I can have under a tarp for camping in the spring and fall time when it is wet here. 👍
I got one of those sleeping bag in good condition. I thought about matching it with a wool blanket and a liner or something to make a warmer bedroll. Seems only you have one also. Let me know if you modified something...
If you check out my overnighter in the boreal under canvas video I actually tried a thin down blanket inside the bag, i didn’t notice much improvement but it was quite warm overnight.... I am excited I got a good ground sheet with my bag, I can leave the bag at home and use the ground sheet as a base for a proper wool bed roll or just to keep my down filled bags from getting wet while on a bow bed.
@@PuskwaskaOutdoors Yes that rubber is brilliant in case thunder strikes! So far I found a microfiber towel as big as the bag that I squeezed under and is unnoticeable. I thought the rubber would protect it no matter the weather and it might come usefull.. Anyhow, this is some underrated sleeping gear. I got the Serbian Canteen also that sometimes can fit perfect in a square pocket...
Nope... I’d of been more than satisfied with just a few bullet holes and a rust stain that won’t wash out.... Instead I got a damn near new bag.... ugh... so disappointed.
Not bad! You got one of the better ones!
:D
only two people died in this one. Its like new!

"Sloga Skopje" was a factory in Skopje, the capitol of Macedonia. They made wind jackets and, apparently, sleeping bags.
Mad props buying one and taking the chance... balls of steel
