The worf is in trouble episode, and the warf was right and still got fussed at by his CO episode, the why are you in this meeting? worf episodes (classic TNG), are all klingon families that overbearing? No wonder they kill for sport.

I met Michael Dorn at a charity after-party from a convention. He approached me and asked how the dinner was. He engaged me in conversation. And we talked for at least 30 min because nobody else was demanding his time. They were talking with other celebs. We had a wonderful conversation and I honestly felt like I was talking with a best friend. Such a warm, heartfelt guy. He has all my support. 10/10 would love to meet and chat again.

I have absolutely fallen in love with this podcast. I love the focus on the actors and their whole lives/careers, not just the Trek related stuff (though, I love that too). Every guest has been someone I would love to just sit and talk with (not about Trek). Everyone has such a unique story, with so much insight into life and the world at large, it's amazing to really see the human side of these wonderfully talented actors.
Can we all just have a moment of gratitude for the number of hours Michael sacrificed in the makeup chair in order to bring us the amazing character of Worf. His work has been a huge part of my life.
Michael's warm, friendly personality (which is on display here) came through in his portrayal of Worf, despite Worf's gruffness. That was what made Worf so likeable.

This is only the third episode that I've watched (first was Frakes', second was Capt Shaw's) and at first Dominic was annoying me. But now I think that his unique "interviewing technique" is indeed a technique and not just an actor trying to steal the show. By interrupting the guests, Dominic is focusing the interview and keeping the guest on subject. He's doing a terrific job. And now I am his defender. Those of you who are snarking that "he needs to let the guest talk" are missing what he's really doing. He's not talking over the guest. He's helping them keep on topic and forwarding the conversation. He's doing great. A silent interviewer wouldn't get nearly this high quality of interview. Bravo Dom!

Michael Dorn really is a remarkable person. Growing up with STTNG, I can‘t imagine the crew without Worf, the fearless Klingon who seeks and defines his place between two worlds, two cultures. Since I watched the TV show in German when I was a kid, I only got to hear his real voice 10 years later, rewatching every episode on DVD. Watching this interview another 15 years later, I feel that I am finally getting to know the actor better. What a joy!thanks to the interview team - and to Michael for being „part of my life“ since childhood.

The fact that Michael Dorn could act as well as he did through all of those uncomfortable prosthetics is something. I'm glad he was able to get the makeup process to be less damaging to his skin.
What's a bummer is that nowadays they could just paint some dots on his face and do Worf's makeup in post via CG, with excellent results. Kudos to Michael Dorn for enduring that torture for so many years for our viewing pleasure. We love you man!
I can't even begin to express my love. Star trek has gotten me through some of the toughest times of my life. It's always been there for me like an old friend. I discovered star trek later in life.. but it came at the best time, for me- the lowest time of my life, and lifted me up from the most sorrow I've ever experienced. I always take something away even if it's the 15th time watching the same episode. I'm on another watch through of the entire pantheon, probably for the 100th time lol. I'm a trekkie. Worf in Picard is one thing that I wish could spin off. I know Stewart was adamant about the characters needing to be who they had become. It was so succesful in Worf. Inspired!

As someone who reads music I like to clarify on what Michael said about it going away: It does not. Once you progress over a certain threshhold. Usually you learn to read treble clef first and once that is firmly ingrained you go for bass clef. These two you need for the piano. If you stop playing a clef too early then you will have to relearn it, but once you played enough music from printed scores, for about a year, then that does not go away any longer. I used to have trouble with ledger lines for the longest time. Anything above 2 lines would give me trouble, but even that goes away with enough practice.
Great to see you back, Dom. What a lovely guy Michael is. I cannot wrap my head around him being 70 yrs old! Wow, like seriously, WOW. He doesn’t look a day over 50! Loved his performances of Worf. Bravo sir. 👏👏👏👏

Mr. Dorn was a fantastic guest, very easygoing, great storyteller, a guy who seems like he'd be everybody's best friend. One of my favourite parts of Shuttlepod as a whole was really on display here, when the guests and our hosts get to just talk acting. The ins, the outs, up and downs, everything under the acting sun. It's all endlessly fascinating to me. Going into this I didn't know very much about Michael outside of his Trek work, so it was cool to hear about all different facets of his life and interests. I am a Trekkie fan but was never a extreme one, so was a fluke when I stumbled on the channel and came across Mr Dorn along with the "crew" that brings the Shuttlepod One to life and I have to say, this entire show was truly a lot of fun to watch and listen in to the whole session. This is why I love pod casts. I've been watching Star Trek since Next Gen and have watched maybe 2000 hours of panel videos and have been to various panel reads face to face. And I never knew half the stuff I learned in this 2 hour show. This man is a treasure.

I can’t believe Michael is 70, he looks great! His voice is soooo different from that of Worf. What a deep growly voice he gave the character. It’s so distinct. It’s like Kevin Conroy for Batman.
I just started watching these and was thinking the same thing. Wasnt sure if it was just me, or just a fluke but I agree. It's off-putting and almost makes me want to stop watching. He talks over the other hosts too not just the guests.
Unfortunately some people get overly exuberant in conversations. I've had interactions with quite a few people who are like that but they don't realize they're doing that during interviews or conversations. It takes some training to be a good interviewer/conversationalist who needs to be both a good speaker but also a good listener. Nothing against Dominic, as I've said some people are simply like that and many don't realize it, I don't think he was deliberately being rude. BTW, it's also cultural, some Asian cultures are very similar in the way people talk and react, you would think there is a raging argument going on when they get together and chat but it's not the case. Northern European cultures are much more reserved when speaking while peoples from the tropics are more "animated" and dynamic.
I was thinking the same when i saw shuttlepod for first time , but after i saw more episodes i like his approach it gives it more lifelike feeling and shows that Dominic really is present and interested with those questions . I start to like it .
Can’t picture a life without shows like Star Trek. I have faith in all the trek series to align and regroup accordingly to make the next transitions to the “real stark trek we all love.” So proud of us and how we are evolving and how the magic is done to mirror our behaviors through the best storytelling in the universe. The last generation episode was a wonderful ending. Mr Dorn The Next Generation got me through a very dark time in my life. I just wanted you and everyone associated with the show that for me it was important.

(Worf made it to captain in the books if I am correct!) He has such a great voice, powerful and endearing to his fans.

Honestly think this is the best podcast on the net at present, not just in sci-fi but I'm including other TV shows, movies, sports, politics etc, etc. This is an interview over two hours long, the length of a movie, but it flew by.
I so enjoyed this episode! Michael Dorn is such a sweet guy and a great storyteller. The two hours just flew by. Your set is getting cozier every time, creating an atmosphere of friends sitting together and chatting. Please keep it up! And the fact that Dom was back made this interview just perfect.
I grew up in Alvarado Texas which shared a school district with Lilian Texas and I never knew this. This makes me so happy how much lives have changed from this area. My parents currently live in Tyler Texas and I live in Dallas. Michael Dorn has always been one of my Star Trek favorites.
Great show to say the least. So glad I found this. Enterprise is my favorite series but all of them are excellent, even the animated series from the 1970s.

I have been a fan of Michael's for a long time, but after this interview I like him even more. He is just amazing, intelligent, gracious and simply a kind person.

Michael is so eloquent when he speaks in real life. It’s such a change from the gruff Worf. What a good actor and I really like how he appreciates the fans.

Connor, Dom and Erica - congrats on another entertaining episode! First let me say - welcome back Dom! I clapped when I saw him appear on screen, overjoyed to see him happy and healthy! Mr. Dorn was a fantastic guest, very easygoing, great storyteller, a guy who seems like he'd be everybody's best friend. One of my favourite parts of Shuttlepod as a whole was really on display here, when the guests and our hosts get to just talk acting. The ins, the outs, up and downs, everything under the acting sun. It's all endlessly fascinating to me. Going into this I didn't know very much about Michael outside of his Trek work, so it was cool to hear about all different facets of his life and interests. (I don't think I'd have it in me to ever want to fly a jet!) I had no idea DS9 wasn't planning to go past four seasons, thank god they kept it going! A great time all around. As always, I eagerly await what the next episode has in store! Happy Shuttlepod Sunday, one and all! ☺🖖💚🍃

I loved the chemistry between the ppl on this episode. I loved Dominic and Michael’s back and forth. It felt like a real conversation rather than an interview. ❤ Keep doing what you all do. To me this episode is the best of them all.
Maybe some of us would want Dominic to tone down, but I'd say it's still alright to keep the dynamics of their conversations

This is why I love pod casts. I've been watching Star Trek since Next Gen and have watched maybe 2000 hours of panel videos and have been to various panel reads face to face. And I never knew half the stuff I learned in this 2 hour show. This man is a treasure.

Luling, Texas. As a Texas native, the biggest thing there is Bucc-ee's, where we have stopped many times. You have to understand, Bucc-ee's is a stop that is like no other. It is its own experience. Great town to hail from, Mr. Dorn.

I can’t believe Michael is 70, he looks great! His voice is soooo different from that of Worf. What a deep growly voice he gave the character. It’s so distinct. It’s like Kevin Conroy for Batman.
No hate, but Dominic, you gotta let people answer when you ask them a question. Let them get out their take before you cut in.
I just started watching these and was thinking the same thing. Wasnt sure if it was just me, or just a fluke but I agree. It's off-putting and almost makes me want to stop watching. He talks over the other hosts too not just the guests.
Unfortunately some people get overly exuberant in conversations.
I've had interactions with quite a few people who are like that but they don't realize they're doing that during interviews or conversations.
It takes some training to be a good interviewer/conversationalist who needs to be both a good speaker but also a good listener.
Nothing against Dominic, as I've said some people are simply like that and many don't realize it, I don't think he was deliberately being rude.
BTW, it's also cultural, some Asian cultures are very similar in the way people talk and react, you would think there is a raging argument going on when they get together and chat but it's not the case.
Northern European cultures are much more reserved when speaking while peoples from the tropics are more "animated" and dynamic.

I was thinking the same when i saw shuttlepod for first time , but after i saw more episodes i like his approach it gives it more lifelike feeling and shows that Dominic really is present and interested with those questions . I start to like it .

I have faith in all the trek series to align and regroup accordingly to make the next transitions to the “real stark trek we all love.” So proud of us and how we are evolving and how the magic is done to mirror our behaviors through the best storytelling in the universe. The last generation episode was a wonderful ending. Mr Dorn The Next Generation got me through a very dark time in my life. I just wanted you and everyone associated with the show that for me it was important.
The number of views this video got, is a huge testament to the popularity of Worf from now 3 series and Trek movies. One of your most viewed videos. Captain Worf from Enterprise E, quite the journey! (Worf made it to captain in the books if I am correct!) He has such a great voice, powerful and endearing to his fans.

I'm always skeptical about casts who claim to be such good friends and get along. But I'm convinced the TNG cast love each other.

I grew up in Alvarado Texas which shared a school district with Lilian Texas and I never knew this. This makes me so happy how much lives have changed from this area. My parents currently live in Tyler Texas and I live in Dallas. Michael Dorn has always been one of my Star Trek favorites.
Great show to say the least. So glad I found this. Enterprise is my favorite series but all of them are excellent, even the animated series from the 1970s.
