The video looks extremely compressed, even on 1080p. Maybe different encoding settings would help that?

the video was good, and it was a really interesting touch to have the cuts where you edit in the keycap/switch insertion in the stream, and then crop the bits out in post. This was nice!

That G key looks like that displaced tooth that your dentist warned you about a few years ago and now is completely in the wrong place :D
The greyness of the e-coat is a super common issue with electrophoresis. It’s why I’m always dubious of groupbuys offering options of e-white for the same price or maybe like $15 more compared to the anodized options.
Getting a bright white e-coating requires some very strict QC, and likely redoing a significant number of boards. I’m a bit sad that it’s become so common to find cheap e-white offerings that look more like White House paint than pure white enamel. But now people are getting used to not paying the ~$40 extra that it would take to get it.
This is intentionally a "milky white" version, there is a pure white version.

It sounds good but if like 9/10 boards being made sounds like this it's a little bit boring imo. This is why for me top mount is still my go to.
can we normalize the standard length rshift on enthusiast layouts please
I'm genuinely curious, as someone who never uses right shift, when do you use rshift? like while typing keys with your right hand or anything in particular? For some reason I only use left shift and I also only tap the space with my left thumb... idk if my typing habits are just wrong or weird?
@@dragonair01 I dont use rshift either tbh, its just that its harder to find (affordable) keycap sets that have the 1.75u rshift

@@dragonair01 Right shift is better when you capitalize words on the left side of the board, like the word 'East'. At least if you want to type very quickly.
