The Controllers

This 1963 film from the Central Office of Information looks at air traffic controllers in the control rooms at Prestwick and London airports.
It shows the intricate workings of co-ordinating movement of civil and military aircraft over Britain, and the emergency procedure when an unscheduled landing is made are made.
This film was used as a BBC2 Trade Test Colour film.
