I love how he has his G1 truck mode and his flaming robot mode. How they pulled that off is crazy.

@@_briandickerson_ the chest is slightly flatter than the original model, you can see it in the movie if you compare the movie models.
@@CaptainBenzler I see that. What I'm saying is that it's still his flaming robot design modeled after the first 3 movies, before the Western Star truck flaming design. It's his G1 truck design with the flaming robot design that stuck out to me.

What a fantastic model! Such an amazing improvement to the original version from the AoE line. This is one I would definitely recommend- an amazing robot mode and vehicle mode
I like how his truck is a flat nosed truck while its robot form is based from his flamed truck form
Im not the biggest fan of the non g1 looking robot mode but i like the truck mode

I love this toy but the Bumblebee movie adaptation of the G1 Optimus Prime Truck and Robot design was significantly better.

He feels really nice and sturdy and looks the part, but the transformation can be a little tough if you do one part before another.
But yet, I'm not entirely satisfied. So I bought the battle damaged version of EM Prime that Aoyi Mech did.

I prefer the mpm toy (black apple version is the best). But this is the best looking O.P. had in movies in my opinion.
black apple has a good shape, but transform process is uncomfortable
well if you want a little detail, go for black apple...if you want less go for black mamba that that rotf and dotm version of it...if you love the base truck like this go for wei jiang...the choice is yours😁

A great vehicle mode that turns into a horrid bayformer robot mode. How disappointing.
While I agree that many Bayformer designs can be ugly messes, Optimus is one of the few I think doesn't look too terrible. The designs in the Bumblebee movie really fixed many of the issues I had with the robot designs. They kept some of the design complexity but made it just blocky enough that it's clear to make out whats a hand, arm, etc. during action sequences. Bayformer fights tend to look like two junkyards getting intimate with each other.
